Best program in South Florida 1st step when I first got here to the program I was torn apart I didn't care about life anymore and they actually saved my life change my whole way of thinking I love this program. if you really want to change this is the program for you I recommend it 100%. Thank you so much first step for saving my life without this program who knows if I'll still be alive I really appreciate it the staff member is super nice and family they help you with everything and motivate you to do better in life. Summer house is amazing all the way around from the quality of cleanliness the support from staff to the volunteers around the clock the experience the advice the way they lift you up when you’re at you’re lowest this place helped me face my fears open up and helped me through many struggles no matter the time always there for anything really makes you feel like you can be more and apart of something special from the quality of cleanliness to the food to the atmosphere is beyond excellent a really unique and amazing experience really grateful to have had this place to help me to start a new journey and lead me to bettering and becoming my best self especially Jenn and Joey that would constantly go out of their way to check on me to my health to my mental state to. This was my first time in treatment and the staff went above and beyond for the most part, to help me feel welcome clean and comfortable. I was very nervous and I went on in to the 2 program to the halfway and met some very awesome people. Gus is very knowledgeable and inspiring. It can get a bit wild due to some of the people coming in and out
so the second floor is more calm after detox and the programs were fulfilling, especially in the 2 phase. The hard working staff may rarely get overwhelmed from the randoms, but
that's normal they went above and beyond....my therapist was great you really have to give it a chance be patient and be in touch with your self.....and really want it ..but they genuinely care for you from when I was there a few months back. You get out of recovery what you put in, I even recommend to a friend and it helped them as well .. only they don't go to the beach as it it says online anymore. I was extremely thankful for first step and thier half way and Alumi is Awesome AF. Life changing !

I came down here February 2024. I didn't have a dime to my name. But first step didn't care. They flew me down and got me in. PHP and IOP was challenging. But the clinical team made me get over my self to get the help I need. If it wasn't for first step and their sober living. I'm sure I would not be here now. Sober 1 year. Happy and at peace. This place is amazing. The best part is even though I completed he program. They are always there when life shows up. And still give me guidance. Thank you to the treatment team. Very often people waste time online to complain or write a bad review to damage someone's business,name or reputation,but very seldom they spend quality time to let others know how much they appreciate someone's else job,effort or care.
This is my sincere Thanks to First Step, this amazing program that has been caring for my daughter Renata Dos-Santos for the past 3 weeks and since before her admission i felt the good vibe,from my questions prior to her arrival been transported from a Hospital.
Ms.Colleen,her case manager had answered all my questions and replies to my emails or calls when i need them in a very professional time manner.
Ms.Shifra her therapist is super enthusiastic,positive and really cares about my daughter's mental health.
Every phone call i get from my girl i feel full of hopes again that i had lost in the past painful years....my daughter is motivated,participating in several activities such therapies,yoga,paint,cooking,lectures, that her happiness seems to had come back.
She had tried other programs before and left all with less then 2 weeks !!!
