Counseling SDC is run by two amazing and compassionate women. I have experienced firsthand working alongside Kathryn for 3+ years and I can attest to her clinical skills and knowledge, compassion for others, and therapeutic rapport with her patients. I would recommend this company for couple or relationship counseling/therapy to my own friends, family, and loved ones. She has a wide range of experience with patients and families as every family dynamic will be different, I trust that she will be of great service to all her clients. She is very responsive and will respond or clarify and questions/concerns that may come up and I know how important it is for patients to have access to treatment. I would highly recommend SDC counseling for anyone looking for these services ?

I have known Kathryn Krug (one of the owners) for the past 7 years. We have worked together as clinicians and I have seen her skills with clients. She is an amazing clinician. She is patient, kind, and direct in the most appropriate and therapeutic ways. She meets clients where they are at and helps them get to where they need to be. I have sent her referrals for couples therapy and have received rave reviews about her skills from the clients I have referred. If you need help, especially if you are in a relationship and there is an issue, she is the best person to reach out to. If I could giver her more than 5 starts, I would.

Counseling SDC is owned and operated by two Entrepreneur-Mothers who have been in practice for over 6 years specializing in Psychodynamic theory. I have known both owners for about 2 years now and have professional knowledge of their skills and abilities to help clients with different forms of relationship stress/issues as well as other mental health disorders. The therapists at SDC are committed to helping others work through their relationship issues whether it be with a spouse, parent, child, or sibling.
As a LMFT myself, I would not hesitate to refer a client to Counseling SDC as they are, without a doubt, a leader in their field!

I have had the pleasure of working with both owners of Counseling SDC. These strong professional women have a passion and drive for helping others. They specialize in relationship counseling, although have the education and experience of working with a wide array of patients ranging from substance abuse to psychotic and mood disorders. Counseling SDC clinicians are warm and welcoming and help guide and educate their clients on the counseling process. They also provide an open and safe environment for their clients. As a clinician my self, when my clients are seeking couples/relationship therapy, I always recommend Counseling SDC, I know they will provide my clients with evidence based therapeutic techniques that help them work through difficult relationship issues. I have known Michelle P for about four years as she was my supervisor at my last agency. The support and feedback I received while being supervised by Michelle was unmatched. She is so knowledgeable with working with children and teens. As we may all know working with children and teens can be difficult, but Michelle has this natural ability to connect with them, I learned so much from just watching the way she connected with them. Michelle has a patient, welcoming and trusting presence in the room and we can all feel it. Michelle, also taught me how to connect with parents, as she showed so much empathy for the families and understood their struggles. Michelle was able to communicate with families in way they could understand and make them feel comfortable and open to have those hard conversations without feeling judged or pressured to share.
