My husband and I have been seeing Kevin Lowery for a couple of months now for couples counseling. He is very kind and patient with us both as we navigate our issues not only in our marriage but also our childhood. My husband and I both wanted someone who we could talk to easily but also someone we could pray with. Kevin was the absolute perfect fit for us. We are so happy we were blessed to find him and that his counseling is very much helping our marriage. Thank you Kevin!

I scheduled an intake appointment for 8.10.24. I met my therapist on a Saturday. He stated that he was booked out a bit and was going on vacation, so he didn’t book me again until 9.4.24. When I came in for the session, the front office stated that my paperwork was not completed, however, it was done online prior to my first session. I didn’t argue, I just started redoing the paperwork. Before I signed anything, my therapist called me in for my session, by the wrong name… but I did not correct him. I figured it was just a long day for him. The front office took the paperwork back and never asked me to finish it. I received a bill via email showing that I was being charged for THREE sessions for the following dates: 8.10.24, 8.15.24, and 9.4.24. I was never at the office on 8.15.24. So, I called the front office to dispute this mistake. I was sent to billing to have the department correct the issue for me but when I talked to them, the woman stated that I “was indeed at the appointment” that “both the therapist and the receptionist checked me in” on the day I wasn’t there and that I was “responsible for the bill” and if I didn’t pay it, they would “send it to collections.” I asked the woman in billing if there were cameras at the office because I was in a work meeting at home and then taking my son to gymnastics at the time they said I was at their office and had proof of it, so the cameras were to reaffirm that as well. She said no. I told her, that I may need to file a police report because I felt it needed further investigation because I was not where they said I was. I was concerned that someone else was checked in for me and that their notes were being written in my file. That’s a violation of HIPPA. The woman explained that there was “ABSOLUTELY NO WAY that there was an error.” She alluded to the fact that I was a liar and actually called me a fraud over the phone when I insisted that this was not correct. I contacted my therapist to have him correct it and called the front office again to put this on their radar. The front office staff said that there was absolutely no way that they could have made a mistake either…. That evening, the therapist emailed me back and vaguely stated that there WAS an error!!! Of course there was, but it’s just interesting that I’m a fraud and I’m the liar when they made the error. The therapist was great and apologized for his part in the error, although it was not explained to me how an impossible thing could have actually happened and if my information was actually safe or not… And no one else had the decency to speak to me about the terrible treatment I was given and the names I was called by the billing department. I will NEVER recommend this practice to anyone, in fact, I will 100% discourage the use of this place. This is SUPPOSED to be a place where people go with their trauma to feel welcome and not judged… but it’s obvious that they think the worst of their clients.

I just went yesterday and already they are causing me more stress than before trying to deal with them and get prescription. They are suppose to help with depression and stress but making it worse. I want to switch but I like the mental health guy John Paul who I chatted with but not the other guy Seinivas Dannaram psychiatrist who can’t seem to get my meds correct, is 25 mins late with the appointment and can’t seem to get ahold of.

I saw a new provider yesterday and I was supposed to have my script called in but no luck. I called them multiple times with a promise of a call back. I GOT NO CALL BACK. Thanks for the extra stress.

I have seen Patrick for close to three months now and I have found him to be very competent, empathetic, and compassionate. His skills with understanding issues with both substance and process addictions is excellent. His therapeutic style is such that in conversation he is able to get you to see where your roadblocks are and how to look at them and both see their origins and validity. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone seeking a therapist who will help you navigate your issues and come up with potential solutions on your own. He does not blame, degrade, or dismiss your feelings, your issues and how they are currently impacting your life. If you are ready to do some work and find some answers and possible solutions to your life problems, then I recommend you make an appointment with him.
