This is a Way over due review. None the less, a great review for this place is an absolute MUST. This is a place is THE place to take your kids or yourself (if you need speech therapy). Hands down the Best! Their facility is not only clean but VERY welcoming.
I took my daughter here and she absolutely loves Nicole. Nicole makes her feel very welcoming and and calm. Maria, the office assistance is very easy going and will work with your schedule. Love her. Kristin, my speech therapist is great. She listens and follows through with what she plans out for your speech therapy. Love her!. Due to moving, we couldn't contine with speech therapy for both my daughter and myself. Otherwise we would have continued speech therapy with this facility until the end of time.
Thank you guys ! Really appreciate your time with my daughter and working around our schedule. Ava will remember her time there.

Great place. Everyone is kind and caring. I work full time and I didn't think I was going to be able to accommodate my schedule around 2-3 therapies per week. Keneks made it happen! They worked with my schedule and we are very happy. My kids absolutely love coming here and they are showing improvement in the areas they needed help with.

We are working with Keneks therapy almost a year and we highly recommend their personalized therapy services. Our son started therapy classes when he was 2 and 1/2, and initially we received in home speech classes, since we live in San Diego. But later we started services in their Escondido office and paired the speech with occupational therapy, and we have twice a week sessions now. Our needs changed over time, but we got prompt attention whenever we needed to adjust our schedule. Our son changed a lot since we are working with them, and we specially thank the warm and personal attention of Kiana.

I bring my son to Keneks for speech therapy and I have to say that Kiana and Danielle are FANTASTIC! They really took the time to build rapport with my son and make him feel comfortable. He is always so happy for session because he knows he is going to have fun, and learn. The equipment and toys they have are always clean and fun to use, you don't have to worry about your little being bored of the same activities over and over.
Maria the receptionist is WONDERFUL as well, she follows up in a timely manner and is always happy to assist. Overall Keneks is a great place, I really recommend it!

TL;DR, whoever I spoke to on the phone was wrong.

The manager talked with me on her own about review, and reassured me that this is NOT how it was supposed to go. They DO make exceptions to their fee policy if the child is sick, fever, throwing up, etc. as well as if there is an emergency.

Whoever I had talked to was wrong, and I was apologized to for the error. Leaving the original review up so people who might be having a similar experience can find the review and see that it is not their policy to charge parents for sick children.

Daughter is sick and throwing up with a low grade fever. I called in the morning to cancel our end of day appointment, and was told we'd be charged a $45 cancellation fee for having a sick child. I asked if I should just bring my sick child, they said yes. So beware, they will encourage sick children who are contagious to come and interact with the waiting room, toys, and therapist.

Highly recommend, my son had OT and PT there and is going great with their help. All the therapists are incredibly professional, kind, patient, and loving.
