Whether you have a frustrating problem or are looking to build your pup’s skill (and your own skills). Janna is the person to help you through it all. When I adopted, my now 3 year old French bulldog, I reached out to Janna out of desperation. We needed help with house training, leash pulling, and basic obedience. We started with a 1:1 consultation and got so much value out of that one session. She modeled effective training strategies and shared recommendations that made an immediate impact! Janna offers excellent classes to help guide you and your best friend to learn together the skills of communication (understanding what is desired), helping you learn how to use voice commands, hand signals and body language to communicate what is desired and expected. Janna at Redwood K9 Academy is the best! I knew when she came so highly recommended by everyone I ran into that she had to be someone special. Her straight forward approach combined with her love and compassion for canines is obvious in every class. She’s also done a home visit for me and not only took her time with making sure got to see the issues but also made sure I was well aware of how to handle them. It’s a bonus that my lil guy Archie adores her!

Janna is amazing. Our pup is a rescue with high anxiety and distrust of other dogs. She has been very helpful providing us and him with the training and tools needed to cope with stressful situations. We have had two sessions so far and have noticed marked improvements already. Janna is an amazing dog trainer! I’ve personally taken two of my dogs to her, to both classes and 1 on 1 lessons. My dogs and I love her! She goes above and beyond for you and your furry friends! After doing 1 on 1 lessons we learned how important it was to do classes and then from there we did a bunch of classes! She keeps you and your pups in check and holds you accountable to be the dog parent you should be! No one does it better than Janna! I highly highly highly recommend her services and sticking on with her for awhile to allow her to help you and your pup! ❤️ Thanks again Janna for all you do!

Janna is so kind and gentle to both dog and dog parent when she trains. She is very knowledgeable on all dog behaviors and especially helped my baby and me with his reactivity to anything that moved. One of the best trainers I have met.

Janna is the best! She is extremely knowledgeable and fun to work with. I highly recommend ALL her classes, from Preschool to College. She provides amazing tools from puppyhood to adulthood. The hiking classes and drop in classes are nice to give your pup a tune up as needed, and just fun for good safe socialization.

Janna is quite amazing! We were lucky to attend puppy class and preschool. The classes didn’t fit our schedule so we weren’t able to continue. Our boys (litter mates) started having some behavior issues and were suspended from the place we boarded them when we were out of town. Janna was quick to make time for us to have some private lessons and got them back on track quickly! Her assessment and recommendations were so helpful and the boarding place told us the boys are welcomed back and their behavior was night and day different and they said whoever we went to was incredible, which we agree! I would recommend Janna for all the training needs!
