A Family Works Counseling

Nicest office staff I have ever encountered. My counselor Sharon has been a life changer for myself and both of my teenage daughters. She is kind, comfortable, full of wisdom, and says hard things when needed. We all love going to see her! ?

I have only been once so far, today will be my second appointment. But already I am SO happy. My therapist had amazing tips for me just from the first session, which I’ve never experienced before after years seeing many different therapists. Additionally, the receptionist said goodbye to me by name as I left, which made me feel so seen and important. The office is extremely comfortable and feels very safe. I cannot say enough good things about this place. And that’s after only ONE visit

We are so happy we found A Family Works. Russel has been awesome to work with and my teen has been able to connect with him in a way he couldn’t with previous providers. Front office staff is friendly and organized. Scheduling is easy whether online or via phone. Highly recommend!

We've utilized A Family Works Counseling for multiple family members for over a year now. If you are on a search for a great therapist - STOP - you've found the right place. Teen, Adult, Individual, Family or Couple's Counseling - they have an array of wonderful therapist who can support you. Our teens see Sharon and they love her! She is able to connect and support them with such ease. We have also seen Russell for couples counseling and he really helped us learn to communicate our needs and emotions in a productive way. Their office assistant Mackenzie is a dream to work with. She is extremely helpful and kind every time I interact with her.

I've heard a lot of horror stories about people's first counselor so this was a scary step to take. Jared is excellent. Very insightful and I like his style. He kind of just guides you a long to discovering things for your self instead of talking at you. The Office staff is always so sweet too.

I LOVE this office. The office staff are respectful, friendly, and responsive. I’ve been seeing Amanda for more than a year and I can’t ask for a better therapist. She’s personable, funny, and what I love the most is that she LISTENS. I highly recommend this office if you’re searching for a therapist.

I am a single father who, along with my two young children, were victims of a long term physicaly and emotionally abusive relationship with my ex fiancé, Steven was able to assist me with getting through a very rough time in my life and moving forward. I highly recommend him to anyone in a similar situation. I only wish I took his advice sooner when he advised me of her psychological issues during therapy. I hope everybody recognizes that men can be victims too!!!! Thank you Stephen. Your staff is awesome as well.

Came in on United, my payment was going to be far too high but I was unaware prior to session and when I got there they told me the charge was going to be x amount and so I could not move forward with the session so they charged me a $50 cancelation charge even though I was there and had every intention of going to my session. When I spoke to the girl at the front desk who clearly did not want to be there as she was unpleasant from the moment I asked for my paper work. She explain I should have called my insurance and understood my benefits prior to coming to my session so this wouldn’t have happened instead of attempting to work with me. I had just switched insurances and came in to get help with some serious mental health issues. I wouldn’t bother coming here the staff is rude and unhelpful. They only care about money and not their clients I’m extremely hurt and disappointed by this group.
