As the spouse of a patient that has an extremely difficult case of bipolar, as well as suffers from rapid manic swings, I have to say this facility let my family down. My partner was upfront with the facility in advising his situation is more complex than most. He is medication resistant and can form a medication tolerance very quickly. however we were assured they would work with him and be there for him in his journey to find peace. This promise quickly fell apart. In his first appointment the NP made it seem like she wanted to help. However about 30 min in to the meeting, she left to get water and her young child was roaming free in front of the camera and playing with the computer. She added a medication to my partners already extensive list of medications. In the next appointment, two weeks later, she swapped his antidepressant and tried removing him from the only fast acting medication that has ever worked at stopping anxiety attacks. The replacement medications not only made my partners anxiety WORSE but also caused severe dizziness and raised his blood pressure exponentially. When he reached out to her in a panic, she blocked him from reaching out to her any longer. When I stepped in, explained the situation and described how the attack was being managed, she ignored me as well. I reached out again a day later and explained to her that in her not replying to his situation she was causing more harm than good. As I am watching my partner deteriorate, getting angry, dizzy, nauseous, and worse so severely depressed he was having dark thoughts....she sends me a notice to advise he is being dropped by the practice. Apparently she changed the dosage of his fast acting meds from the previous psychiatrist directions and then advised us we were breaking a medication protocol. This was a simple misunderstanding that could have been rectified if she would have taken a moment to talk to us, but instead, I was blocked from reaching her as well. Her insistence of not wanting to help or listen has left my partner with two medications that make his situation worse and he has no support. We were left scrambling to find a new doctor....after TWO visits. She literally worked with him for two weeks and dropped him. While I cannot pretend to understand her true motivations. All I do know is this is exceptionally unprofessional and abandoned a patient with severe mental health issues without guidance. My partner was in such a bad place, because of her actions, I could have lost him. I WILL NEVER FORGET OR FORGIVE THIS FACILITY FOR THE DAMAGE THEY HAVE CAUSED.

I started care with them over a month ago and I think they're fantastic! Dr. Rivera is a wonderful psychiatrist; an absolute delight to work with, and he's very kind and caring and listens to everything I need to say. The staff are great too, especially Meme.

If you are at your final point and need assistance I highly recommend you go here. The staff is incredibly sweet and will bend over backwards for you. Dr.Hoffman has hands down been the best professional I’ve ever met with. Achieve Wellness Group cares about their patients and continually keeps up with their lives. They are incredible people. 5/5. 🙂
