Advent Health Sports Med and Rehab therapist have always provided exceptional loving therapy to my son with severe special needs. They always take the time to review goals/progress and provide activities to use at home. The therapist continue to show empathy towards my son's emotional and behavior needs. My son has been receiving PT & OT for a few years now multiple times a week & he’s always excited to go see Ms.Kim & Ms.Eunice & they are both amazing! He was also previously receiving speech with Ms.Gina who is also wonderful. Everyone in the office is friendly and helpful whether it’s moving his schedule around or insurance questions. We always have a great experience!

I’ve been taking my baby there for physical therapy since she was a newborn. The front staff is really nice and accommodating when I need to change appointments, the therapists ( Kim & kimmy) are so charismatic, friendly, patient and most importantly they’re professional.
Every exercise they send me an email so I can do it at home, I can email them any time with questions and they reply promptly. During sessions they have the patience of a saint because of course- they’re dealing with children. Some days are better than others but that’s expected because I have a child. If there’s staff around and my baby is crying they lend a helping hand. Once we didn’t know if my baby had a lip tie and the specialist was available and came and helped to check my baby and give me pointers on how to breast feed.
If my baby is crying they’re ok stopping, cutting the session short and if they have the time they give us some extra time.
I feel like everyone there treats us like family and that’s what was the most important for me since we’re dealing with MY child.
Most importantly, the sessions work. Physical therapy takes time and it’s not a change expected to happen overnight. I need to put my part at home and going there consistently also helps, I can’t just rely on them to work a miracle.

My opinion is so-so about this place. I take my autistic child here. They are honestly not the most autism friendly therapy center. The front staff are excellent but with therapy I have seen little improvement with my child in the past months. Not to mention multiple of the therapists are borderline cold and short and have no business working with kids let alone special needs children. One of the things that really upset me is recently at an appointment they blame my child because they can’t run their “tests” appropriately. I am honestly disappointed because I had high hopes for this center as there are not many pediatric physical therapy places in palm coast

We love it here! The staff always goes above and beyond to work alongside parents to meet each child’s individual needs. My children feel loved and look forward to their appointments each week. I can’t imagine taking my kids anywhere else.

I finished my physical therapy program at Advent Health Med & Rehab Palm Coast Medical Plaza last week. This is a group of very professional therapists! Friendly, cheerful and encouraging from the front desk to the the workout room. I started with a really bad Sciatic Nerve and back muscle pains. After 4 weeks the pain is pretty much gone. I still need to do the exercises but they work, so I’m dedicated to doing them every chance I get! Kudos to Steve, Jacob and Joel! A dedicated, professional team that truly care about their customers!!

Susan Jean Lavanaway was my grandson, physical therapist at AdvantHealth Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine in Palm Coast. Ms. Lavanaway publicly told me last Wednesday she would have to pause his therapy sessions if his behavior doesn’t improve. My grandson has been receiving physical therapy sessions since September 2023. Only once do I recall Ms. Lavanaway telling me if he didn’t cooperate she wouldn’t work with him. And, I agreed with her since it would be a waste of time. My grandson is a four year old child, who has meltdowns and temper tantrums sometimes, but he is improving. My grandson has been diagnosed with being developmentally delayed. He’s in VPK and has a IEP plan. My grandson is very smart child who academically is doing extremely well! Now because of this incident with Ms. Lavanaway, he only receives PT one day a week for 30 minutes until another physical therapist is available. I did report this incident to the office manager, Dan. But, how Ms. Lavanaway handled this situation with my grandson was unethical. I have observed children going for services there and due to their different disabilities sometimes have behavioral challenges, but I have never seen a therapist publicly embarrass a parent and child in front of people in the waiting room area!
