We moved my mom here for rehab after open heart surgery and if we could give them ten stars, we would!! From the administration to the CNAs every single person we encountered was stellar! Markell Mosley went above and beyond for our family and we will forever be grateful!! My mom spent the first week of her rehabilitation in Sarasota and she was miserable, from the minute we came to wauchula, her entire demeanor changed! Absolutely wonderful place for rehab!

My husband was there 24 days. Excellent, loving and caring staff . Therapists were top notch . If ever therohy is needed by either one of us in the future we will use this facility.

All I can say is that Rose has everything under control at all times, she’s the most experienced licensed therapist, and she ensures all her patients receive the best treatment for their conditions. I’m very grateful and highly recommend!

I came to Wacuhla rehab sports and medicine center attached to the hospital. I was apprehensive as I never been to rehab before, I didn't know what to expect. Even before the EMT's could wheel me into my room I had many nurses, Tech's, and a pharmacist working on accessing me & getting me admitting. They worked like a well oiled machine. Taking care of me mentally, physically and spiritually. Making sure I was comfortable the whole time.
When concerns came up for the doctor the nurses would make sure he'd be there in the morning, visit with me and after talking with me and telling me what he'd like to do, with my agreement he would have medication corrected 123.
All my nurses are wonderful, the OT &Pt's work hard with you and know just how hard to push. The techs are right there to help with anything you need. They clean the commode every time you use it. They always make sure you have ice water,even coffee & snacks if you ask for them. I am amazed at the kindness, the way you felt apart of the family, even right down to house keeping and the chefs and those who came and took your choice of foods on the menu. Everyone is accommodating.
Their motto is "Extending the healing ministry of Christ". I feel that from everyone. I am truly blessed to have come here. I even got my hair washed by the activities coordinator such a kind beautiful woman. So very nice she lights up the room with sunshine. The Pastor was very welcoming too, we talked a while then he prayed such a thoughtful pray, I cried feeling his aniotment 🙏🏼
Even with the aggressive OT & PT they are very careful with you. I have a long road to go. I am glad I am in their hands. Wacuhla Rehab Sports and Medicine Center is the best place to get back on your feet. They are the best!
