The engineering and chemistry departments are standouts, offering top-tier programs that rival those at larger institutions. During my time at Aims, I pursued a degree in pre-engineering and engineering drafting, creating detailed designs for CAD 101/102 and advanced 200-level design classes.

Equally impressive is the chemistry department, where the instructors’ passion for teaching and ability to simplify complex topics set them apart. In my class, which included about 23 pre-nursing students, the energy and dedication of the faculty were unmatched. The pre-nursing program’s seamless transition into the University of Northern Colorado is a testament to the program’s quality and preparation. The chemistry faculty were instrumental in helping students succeed, leaving a lasting impact with their supportive and inspiring teaching.

Aims Community College combines academic rigor, a supportive environment, and a beautiful campus, making it an outstanding choice for students pursuing their goals in engineering, nursing, or any other field. Very poor (to literally no) communication from the advising department at AIMS Community College. Trying to get registered to take courses in the fall feels like going up against a faceless/nameless maw of an poorly-run educational institution. I'd go elsewhere if I were you.

Got a degree with no debt. Small class sizes means more individual help from professors. Highly recommend.

All of the facilities and professors here are amazing! The student commons is fantastic. There are so many great people and opportunities here!

I loved this college, compared to a university I saved a TON of money, and I have had nothing but amazing experiences with staff and faculty. They went above and beyond to help me and make sure that I was taking the correct classes for what I wanted to do and that all my credits would transfer. The professors are dedicated to helping the students that want to be helped, just like any school there are the students who don't care and don't put in the effort. It is your money so you are responsible for showing up and doing the work, but as long as you do your professors will be there to help. The campus is also pretty and well maintained.

Good little community college. Attended myself and currently have a daughter there. Financial aid was easy to apply for and they explain everything fairly well. Class sizes were ok and instructors were laid back. Maybe a little too much! Lots of parking and a well laid out campus with constant police presence.

I can't say enough good things about Aims. I am a non traditional student, I am 34 years old, have a child and have to work at the same time I go to school. I received scholarships through Aims to pay for my classes, I had people there to help me whenever I needed. Every email I sent was returned quickly whether it was to financial aid, admissions, my advisor, they are waiting to assist when you need it. The campus feels like home. Everyone is so pleasant and if you ever run in to an issue there is always someone there to help resolve it. This school is the reason I continued going to college, they made it easy to WANT to be there. I love all of them.
