Participating in teen group therapy with Akiva Counseling made me see that many teenagers are going through the same thing and we can help each other and tell each other about our own experiences. I also learned some of the science behind why your body and brain reacts certain ways to different scenarios, which helps me identify what I am feeling so I can use the tools I have learned to deal with my feelings.
