Ally Cove Counseling

Would not suggest taking any child to this counselor. I took my daughter once. It was highly uncomfortable for both her, and I! The line of questioning was inappropriate for a 16 year old to have to deal with. I left feeling like I took her in needing help, and he made it much worse in one visit. The councelor wanted me to stop having her see her Doctor, and taking her meds so he could send me to a much more expensive place for the same services. He was also adament he wanted to put her in a facility long term, which was not helpful to her condition. At the end of his visit with my Daughter he told her not to speak to me at all until they could meet again. Upon getting her home I found that she was very triggered, and had serious behavioural issues for 2 days. After which she informed me of what was said while I was not in the room. It was not appropriate to say the least. I would feel like I was doing a disservice to my community if I did not warn other mothers to not take their under 18 children to him.
