HIGHLY recommend! I went with my husband for his first visit today after a long time of him putting things off. He was walking around with discomfort and pain daily. He left today feeling like a new man and we can’t stop talking about what a difference this facility has already made for us & our family overall! Karen & Tracy were both so kind over the phone when initially scheduling his appt. Everyone here knows what they’re doing but not only that, they actually CARE about their patients (which is rare in Florida)! We are so grateful for everyone here & he looks forward to walking on his new leg in a few weeks. So thankful for we found this place! Highly recommend!

I am from upstate New York, I have been an Amputee for over 70 years. When I moved on here I went 2 other amputee offices. I was not able to get any good service. I bumped into a gentleman at a restaurant. He recommended the amputee clinic. I went in there and was happy from the start. They do everything in house, they do not have to ship anything out to be fixed.
It's wonderful to find somebody That actually knows what theyre doing and actually cares.
You guys really made me feel like family. I would highly recommend all amputees go to The amputee clinic. If I was allowed to give ten stars I would.

I found the Amputee Clinic through the recommendation of a personal friend of Brian's, who knew me also, but was actually not an amputee. At that time, I had been an AK amputee for about 20 years so I did not have any high expectations, but thought it was worth a try. Every day I think about how lucky it was to find the Amputee Clinic. People say all the time that this or that "changed their life", but I an honestly say that Amputee Clinic DID change MY life. I felt fairly functional in my old leg, but for the last 9 years or so, since Amputee Clinic finished my first leg, I have been comfortable doing many activities that simply made me too nervous to enjoy before. In addition, simple things like bending over in a chair to pick something off the ground without losing my suction seem small, but have made an unbelievable difference in my day to day life. I am somewhat of a tinkerer, so I get a reputation as one who messes with the hydraulic adjustments and structural details like the socket trim line. Amputee Clinic has been wonderful about working with me to use everything they know but still listening to what I know, to make my experience the best it can be. Now over 30 years as an amputee, I cannot imagine going anywhere else for my prosthetics. Thank you Amputee Clinic.

I have been an amputee since I was a small child. Never have I been to a place where they really take the time to listen to you and make sure you walk out of that door comfortably. I am truly appreciative to all of their staff. They work together beautifully. Marc is a very kind and wise man. He’s amazing at his craft. Karen at the front desk is extremely helpful. I would recommend this place a thousand times if I could. I always get compliments on how well I walk and I have to say I wouldn’t be able to do it without such a great group of people!

Being a fairly new AK Amputee, i have tried other clinics with not much success, but i was recommended to the Amputee clinic they knew exactly what i needed, they made me several sockets as my leg changed in size and put me in a microprocessor knee and worked with me on alignment and adjustments to help me be able to walk again . Its still a work in progress but i feel that i am on the right track getting back to normal. The staff at the Amputee clinic could not be more helpful and respond to my concerns and needs to make me more appreciated with having lost my leg and mobility being restored. Thank You Guys

My name is John Romer and I wanted to share my experience as a patient of The Amputee Clinic, for any recent amputees, or people who have been an amputee for a while, I highly recommend The Amputee Clinic. The entire staff is very kind and knowledgeable. Whether you need a small adjustment or to be fitted for a first time prosthesis, you won't find a more knowledgeable or friendly establishment. I have had bad experiences in the past with another large corporate chain that was more interested in making money than the well being of the patient!

Hi this is Lauren Frank I live in Venice Florida. I moved down here in 2016 I am an AK above knee amputee. I started out with Hangers in 2011 in upstate New York and they were just terrible. I hobbled around for seven years and when I moved down here and I met the beautiful people, Karen MarkPete they were fantastic. They will go above and beyond their 21st-century knowledge. They’re incredible people. I really advise you if you’re an amputee and you’re having problems do not go to Hangers go to the amputee clinic these folks really really care. Thank you.
