My son has been working with Dr. Lovely for almost a year now, and the level of development has been exponential. Her relationship with my son is so genuine, and she has been such a great advocate for him during his time with her. She continually engages us with what is being worked on in sessions so we can help reinforce actions at home, and our son often talks at home about how he is practicing the actions for Dr. Lovely. My 6-year-old daughter has been a client of Dr. Lovely’s for almost a year now. As a therapist mother myself, I understand the importance the role of an occupational therapist plays in the successful development of children like my daughter who have Down Syndrome. I’m beyond pleased with the progress she’s made since working with Dr. Lovely. My daughter responds beautifully to Dr. Lovely’s errorless learning approach to therapy. Her confidence has soared and there has been a significant gain in her strength. She finally achieved her goal of climbing a rock wall and crossing the monkey bars, feats I didn’t think she’d achieve for a long time. My daughter has responded so well to Dr. Lovely’s calm affect, something I too try to mirror when working with my daughter and other children. The facility here lends itself to functional therapy opportunities by providing a pool, obstacle course, playground, sandbox, and an indoor gym. My daughter always wants to come and cheers when it’s OT day! I highly recommend that if you’re searching for an occupational therapist, you consider Dr. Lovely. You just can’t have my time slot!
