Artisans Playhouse in Hialeah is such a fun place to explore different crafts and create something special! Their rug tufting class is so rewarding to see your own design come to life. The pottery wheel experience was a blast, and the instructor is very patient and provides step by step instructions, making it easy to jump right in even if you're a beginner. The candle-making workshop was also a highlight; they have so many unique scents, and it was great to leave with a custom candle we made ourselves. This place is perfect for anyone looking to try something new and creative!

Had SO much fun trying tufting for the first time. My husband surprised me for my birthday and I love it! Will definitely be going back

FYI this is not a short activity. This took us about 4 hours to do, and it is hard work. Don’t let that scare you away though because the final outcome makes it worth it.

First you get a lesson on what do to, how to do it, safety measures etc. then you break out and begin your art. They provide you a blank canvas and let you make whatever you want, whatever size - which is pretty cool. Then you project your art and get to work.

A true Miami gem!! We did a private class for my birthday with my friends and it was the best idea ever! It was so fun and the owners are sweethearts! We felt so comfortable and even though throwing on the wheel was a little hard, our instructor helped us so we can end up with good pieces. i definitely would recommend doing a private for any special occasion, it's definitely worth it! <3

One of my absolute favorite places in all of Miami! The second you walk in you're greeted with the best decor, it truly feels like you are in a fun play-house.

I went to a class with a friend and we had so much fun! I had a hard time at the beginning and the instructor, Ruben, was there to help. I was working really hard on a mug I wanted but I messed it up 🙁 BUT RUBEN FIXED IT! I was so grateful!!!

The other events look so cool, I honestly want to go to all of them!

It's a small family business, run by a kind couple. It's a nice feeling to have knowing that every dollar you spend goes to real Miamians instead of a large greedy corporation.

A hidden gem! Such a great place to hang out and experience some new activities whether you have a creative soul or not. The pottery wheel was actually trickier than I imagined but Ruben was so patient and helpful, it made the world of a difference. I will certainly be back for another experience!

We had a great time with Jovy at our rug tufting class! The studio space is really great and there was a pottery class going on as well, which was cool to be able to take breaks and watch what they were making! We will be back for sure!!
