This is a psych office and they have an employee Barbra is the one you call to make an appointment. But she out of incompetence cancels appointments, talks to (mentally ill) like they are idiots or talks over them and demands silence. She is not fit to deal with the handicapped. The rest of the staff is fine but she is a complete cancer. She does whatever she wants to make her job easier.
She is rude unethical has no customer service skills and there’s not know how to deal with disabled at all. My Therapist in this group is the most amazing Therapist I’ve had in 20 years of Receiving therapy, And Barbara has absolutely no people, skills or conflict resolutions skills, which both are vital to dealing with the mentally compromised clients they deal with. An example the last thing you want is to talk to your therapist about legal paperwork you were just served and understand with your therapist and she had canceled your first appointment. I had an emergency come up and she would not reschedule and all she did was yell at me and talk over me. Unless barberry is dealt with, this will be the last time I go to this office which I’ve been going to for over seven months since my last therapist retired. The owner and the therapist Kasey seem to be the only ones that understand who they’re dealing with and how to deal with them . Barbara needs serious sensitivity, training, and serious training on how to deal with people with psychiatric and emotional disabilities. Her treatment today which gets a lot more detailed than what I’ve said has caused me to start filing for disability claim against her. Barbara is dishonest, rude, And likes to Raise her voice at people. Instead of dealing with my normal problems that I struggling life with I spent my whole therapy appointment when I finally got My Therapist to call me to call me down by the way I was treated By the staff member Barbara

I have been going to this location for over a year. I cannot begin to explain how great this office has been. They are very kind, personable and flexible. i highly recommend this company and location. With that being said, my therapist is Marni Wonderley. I wish I could put into words how amazing this human is. She is one of the few best things that has ever happened to me in a time I didn't even know I needed. She has been there thru the entire journey with me weekly and I cannot thank her enough for the services and the compassion rendered. I came in a hot mess and I left an empowered gentleman and will continue to work with her until we are old sitting on a porch in a rocking chair. Please do yourself a favor and use this company and I recommend Marni!

Melissa Amaya is an excellent therapist. She has helped our marriage and family work through a variety of issues. She is kind, introspective, insightful, caring, and thought provoking. We would recommend her services to anyone. If you're looking for someone that can help you sort out issues of your life, marriage, and family, you will find no one better.

We have had a very good experience here. The counselor, Samantha, was a great fit for my child and has been wonderful. We had a serious billing issue with Headway and were getting nowhere with Headway, as they are very difficult to deal with and you cannot speak to an actual human. I called the office to let them know we would have to switch providers because we were unable to resolve it, and they contacted Melissa, the owner. She contacted Headway and had the matter resolved in hours, including a full reimbursement of the billing error. We did not have to switch to a different counselor and everything was corrected with Headway. I do not understand the bad reviews, as our challenge was handled immediately and with absolute professionalism. Scheduling, return phone calls, and all everything else have been handled in a timely manner, and insurance, co-pays, etc. have been explained in detail. The communication from the counselor has been excellent. It is extremely difficult to find counselors that will meet in person version over video these days, so I would highly recommend this office. If difficulities do arise, reach out to the office and give them the opportunity to problem solve for you.

I was referred to As We Grow from my child's school four years ago, since then I've been using the services for myself. The counselors are sensitive, knowledgeable, accommodating, and have so much patience. I have since passed on the information to my manager who requested it for someone in need. Thanks to As We Grow my child and I are using the tools and guidance to manage our day to day challenges.

I really felt like this place was a good fit despite the bad reviews. But I now have realized why there are so many negative reviews and gave them a chance.

First off, my insurance was double billed for weeks. Once I contacted them, they did fix this but it made me a little skeptical. I let it slide though as I felt the therapist was good.

Her schedule changed multiple times due to the facility renting out rooms for a massage therapist which was frustrating. As soon as I complained about this, they refused to see me. I had never been told they couldn't help with my anxiety and then suddenly was told, with no notice at all, that I would get a letter.

I find this to be completely unethical and will definitely be letting others know who I have referred.

I definitely read other reviews and go at your own risk. Some therapists there might be good , but I regret not listening to other reviews.

*FRAUD ALERT* If I could go lower, I would. I went for an initial counseling session last Thursday for my children and myself. I was told that if I brought cash to pay, there would be a discount. As I was filling out the paperwork, there was a spot for my credit card information. I told the person handling the request that I was not comfortable writing down my information on a piece of paper and did not understand the reason for it since i was paying cash. She assured me it was safe and that they ONLY use the credit card number if you don't show up to n appointment. I reluctantly wrote my information. The next morning I see a charge for the amount of the appointment that I just paid cash for the night before. Obviously irritated, I called up and inquired about the charge and who authorized the payment. I received a message that they did not "see" the cash and charged my card "by accident". No apology, just said it would be returned in 48 to 72 hours. As of the following Thursday, 6 days or 144 hours later, the money was not in my account. They offered to give me a check for the ammount that night. I could not pick up the check that night due to unforeseen circumstances and called to let them know I would be there first thing in the morning. When I awoke however, the money had been returned to me so I called to tell them there was no need to have the check ready since I had the money in my account finally. I asked if they could provide a free session instead for my troubles that was their fraudulent charge to my credit card. I received a voice mail from Melissa, the owner, that said she is not willing to provide a free session and that we should part ways because "I don't have trust in them". What?!?!? My card was charged without authorization or knowledge for a session that was already paid for and held for 6 days and I don't have trust in them. Now, I have to go to 2 beautiful little girls and let them know we have to find someone else since this is a poorly managed business.
