But they do not just specialize in ADHD, they also handle trauma too. They utilize the latest techniques, including Polyvagal Theory, which has been a game-changer for me. We have used Dr. Ashkin for many services and she was amazing at each appointment. I first meet Dr. Ashkin when I was having a difficult time in my life and needed someone to help me sort through everything. Dr. Ashkin was very professional, a great listener and helped me discover the best solution for me. A few years later my son was struggling in school. Dr. Ashkin made Chase feel very comfortable and relaxed as she administered IQ tests. After, she carefully reviewed the results and our options to best help him succeed in school. It only made sense that when our youngest was advancing very fast at a young age that we take him to Dr. Ashkin for IQ testing. Again, she was amazing with him!! We love Dr. Ashkin and will continue to keep her on our speed dial. You can trust her with your family because she will treat you like her family.

I have been seeing Dr. Ashkin for close to 3 years now. I saw her for the first time at one of the worst points in my life, and she really turned things around for me. From the moment I stepped in her office, I felt comfortable. She is one of the easiest people to be around, and her perspective on struggles in life is refreshing. She has given me practical tools to use in my day to day struggles, and as the months have passed by, she has walked me through more crisis and conflict than I can count. She deeply cares for her patients, and wants the best for them, she is patient, and I really appreciate her ability to lighten things up a little, especially for someone like myself who can be to serious sometimes. Her compassion for people is evident in every session with her. She has seen two of my children and was great with both of them. Dr. Ashkin has been such a blessing to me and my family.
