We love Atlantis Academy Coral Springs. My daughter just graduated from there after attending since Middle School. She has had wonderful support, attention and help from the teachers and admin staff, I was very involved with the school as a parent first and foremost. Always in contact with the teachers and staff. They never made me feel as if my questions or concerns were out of line and they listened to anything I had to say and were always open to suggestions. They work with the families. They have clubs and extra activities for the kids several times a year. Including dances, movie nights, holiday shops, and spirit week. They also participate in Special Olympics. Let's not forget the LIFE Program they offer, for kids that have graduated but aren't quite ready to move on. The teachers are kind, and loving and they treat the kids as their own. My daughter still goes back weekly to visit because she misses everyone. I would refer any family with a special needs child to look into Atlantis. They did wonders for my daughter. They also have PTO and encourage parents and other family members to get involved. Atlantis, Ms. B. the director and everyone has been a blessing to our family.

I have seen such patience, such a calming nature, acceptance, and creativity at Atlantis Academy. They teach their special needs students with love, enthusiasm and dedication. Over the years I have witnessed the growth of their students and the many breakthroughs are so rewarding.
Whenever I enter the school, I feel the positive energy, the promise and hope.
They are fully committed to never giving up on their kids and teaching them in a way it changes their level of confidence and self esteem.
I’ve always wished every student in our public schools could get this type of education.

This school is amazing! Very clean. My son has been attending since the middle of 3rd grade. He has Autism and was being bullied at his prior school. Everyone at the school made his transition so easy it was such a blessing. We have great communication from the school, teachers, support staff and principal. We couldn’t be happier! We absolutely LOVE the school.

Atlantis Academy is a fantastic school for students with varying abilities. I believe it is our forever school. Its so nice that The principal, assistant principal and bookkeeper would personally greet each student every morning offering words of encouragement. It’s unfortunate that a disgruntled ex teacher could say hurtful and false statements. The school is extremely clean. The restrooms are very clean and sanitized the cafeteria is spotless. I’m sure there is normal hallway, stairwell and common area clutter by the end of the day. I think all teachers were stressed this year having to teach in person and virtual and they did a phenomenal job. No school public or private could obtain substitutes this year. Who would want to sign up to teach virtual and face to face to a group of students that you didn’t really know, that’s stressful. My public school student had classes canceled when teachers called out out, Atlantis obtained coverage and provided work for their students if a teacher had to call out. When the math teacher called out which was many times the students were provided another room to complete work with the supervision of a staff member. I think she forgets that We, as parents, could sign on to Teams at any given time, and we did, to see what was being taught and who was teaching. I signed in daily sometimes 3 and 4 times a day and I never saw my child unattended in a class.
I have friends who were told after their tour that Atlantis wasn’t a good fit for their child and Ms. Marrero then assisted in finding a school that would be a good fit. That doesn’t sound like a place filling students for profit. They help families find proper placement. Not all schools are a good fit for all students. If parents are honest up front, Atlantis Academy will do all that is possible to help their child grow both socially and academically.
I hope the ex math teacher finds peace and will move on. It’s sad that after spending an entire school year with our children that we find out how hurtful she was. Thank goodness for the science, social studies and English teachers, a very strong and professional team.
We are happy our child is happy, learning and his self esteem is through the roof. Thank you Atlantis Academy and staff for making it through a pandemic. We can’t wait for August and all the great milestones that will be reached. God Bless.

Atlantis Academy is a wonderful school with heart and teachers that care. I have a special needs child and they always went above and beyond for her. If there was a problem they contact me right away. The administration are always willing to make time to talk to you and help you with any concerns you have. I am so happy I found this school and will continue to send my daughter there!

Placing my son in Atlantis Academy, Coral Springs has been the best decision I have made for him regarding his education. My son was lost in the sea of public education, he was withdrawn and not engaged. At Atlantis Academyn Coral Springs he is fully engaged in the curriculum and frequently will relate to me what he has learned in Science or History. He always has a fascinating fact to share with me. He likes to participate in the science fair and the international fair. He has developed friendships and grown socially and emotionally the last 4 years at Atlantis Academy, Coral Springs. You can tell that the staff cares for the students. Each day at drop off the staff greets the students by name with a smile; at dismissal its usually a fist bump and a "see you tomorrow". Most importantly my son loves Atlantis Academy, he wants to be there and learn. He wants to participate in school functions. He wants to go to dances and participate in clubs. Before going to Atlantis Academy my son didn't want to even go to his 5th grade dance or graduation ceremony. I am so thankful Atlantis Academy was recommended to us for my son.
