This hotel was the perfect getaway! The beachfront location made it so easy to enjoy the ocean, and the pool was a great spot to relax and unwind. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, with comfortable rooms and thoughtful touches throughout.
The staff were warm and accommodating, making the stay even more enjoyable.
There is a small cafe but if you are looking for a nice meal you will need to order a taxi or walk 20 min. The best restaurant nearby is the porch.
As of now, there is one building that is renovated and the other one with the sea view is a not.
The only thing that can be improved is the bedding and pillows.
Overall a great choice for a peaceful and relaxing vacation!

My experience here was mixed. Great location. Rooms are good. A bit expensive but it's the busy season February and it's on the beach. So here is my review.
Rooms were nice, clean and maintained. Well. The only issue we had was our air conditioner was not working. 88 deg in our room, the first night i did complain and they told me there would be somebody out to fix it that day.And this did not happen. 88 second night also before they finally decided to move us. No apology, no discount nothing. I asked for the manager to call me to discuss the matter which they did not follow through. The other major issue is the ceiling fan in the bedrooms. They are controlled via a remote bluetooth control. And with the builder installed them, they did not program them on separate frequencies. So, being that our room was extremely hot, we tried to turn the fan on, only to find that it would turn right back off. It took me a while to figure out what the problem was and after some investigation and reading some manuals on the unit, I discovered the issue of the units being on the same frequency throughout the hotel. So basically, you are fighting with the room above you or next to you on the control of your ceiling fan. If you don't know what's going on, it's quite crazy to see your fan turn on and off by itself. The staff in the front office really didn't seem to care, nor do I think that they referred the information to the managers. It's too bad because this is a nice location in up to date rooms.

A gal I know had her destination wedding here. They were happy to support this resort after the hurricane, and had been here before. ||They were all shocked to find that while they were celebrating the marriage, their rooms were gone thru and many things were missing, including $1500 cash from Wedding envelopes & cards. Inside job. The hotel offered nothing for compensation.||||The Bride & Groom were happy with their ceremony & reception, but the lack of protection & security from the management.

The beach is amazing. White sand, smooth water. But that’s where it ends. Our room was overlooking the ocean … so great views. But the first room we were taken to was 78 degrees. Not exactly inviting. We were able to move to a cooler room with a working A/C but the interior was very old and worn. The floors and bathroom were dirty. The light coming in the window above the bed made it impossible to sleep past 6:30 am. The staff was nice enough but we would NEVER recommend this ā€œresortā€. Don’t fall for the pretty pictures online like we did!

Great stay at the Bali Hai! Had a beachfront king luxury suite overlooking a beautiful stretch of sand. Room was nicely appointed, property was nice and quiet. And special shout out to Alyssa at the front desk who went above and beyond to make my stay a great one! Highly recommended property!

We stayed in room 18 at Bali Hai. It was not one of the remodeled rooms, but I picked it because it was right on the beach and our balcony had a beautiful view! This resort had a spa; we didn't use it, but it also had bikes and we rode them down to Bean Point and spent some time on that beach. Mason at the front desk was super helpful and gave up lots of fun ideas. We had 2 free drinks, courtesy of Mason, to use at the lounge.

We were here shortly after hurricanes Milton and Helene had hit Anna Marie island and people said the beach water quality wasn't so great. We did walk along the beach a lot and kind of waded in, but we didn't swim. We did visit the hotel pool, though, and it was great water -- so clean and warm. The courtyard of this hotel with the pool and games was really nice!

My husband and I and our 3 kids stayed here for 2 nights. This place is someday going to be a AWESOME resort! The grounds are impeccable, the services fabulous, the customer service amazing. This was a few months after the hurricane came through and all the first floor beach front rooms flooded and were boarded off. We were in a beachfront room, #14. Now i requested a beachfront room, but I WISH they would have told me on the phone when I did, that the non beachfront rooms (which look out over the pool and beautiful grounds) are the new and remodeled rooms and the beachfront rooms are all old. Truthfully, I still would have picked beachfront because I LOVE waking up and seeing the beach, but if I had known that it would have made a lot more sense our first night.

We arrived late at night and honestly I’m just going to be honest, my husband and I both felt like we were in a motel murder movie, there was NO one there, it was very very dark, we walked up the steps to the second floor and then down a hallway lit with creepy yellow lights to our room… it was creepy! Some more lights on the grounds and some non yellow lights in the hallway would do wonders. We walked in the room and it was dated but they did a nice job updating things like light fixtures, cupboard handles, nice clean walls and ceiling, decorations, etc. BUT the floor was FILTHY!!! We have an 11 month old daughter who is crawling EVERYWHERE and truthfully I just cringed the whole time. Not dirty like pieces on the floor, it was all vacuumed and clean in that sense, but dirty as in that rug has just had tons of people all over it and it’s not held up… only so much vacuuming a rug can do. All our feet were BLACK and my baby’s clothes were blackened. The rugs are SHOT, I mean SHOT, and that was gross. Again, it was vacuumed… but those rugs have seen better days and need to be replaced and the floor NEEDS STEAMED! Especially the bathroom floor. I could care less if it’s a ā€œprettyā€ updated floor, I just want clean. That night, it was dark, we couldn’t see the pretty hotel grounds or the lovely beach… and I was in tears… I just wanted to go somewhere else. We both said coming at night like that started us off with a really bad impression.
I will also note that my 11 month old could fit right through the railings on the porch overlooking the beach, so we did keep her off that but it still made me nervous. Everything else in the room though was very clean, some things more outdated than others but honestly the floor was the only thing that felt dirty, everything else was very clean, even inside the cupboards and things.

Now that I’ve said all of that, I will say this…. after being there 2 nights, and being there in the daytime both of us feel really differently. They are working SOOOO hard there to make things awesome! The pool, beach, outdoor games and areas are truly what you would see at a high end resort! ABSOLUTELY BLISSFUL!! They were insanely accommodating. The beachfront rooms are seriously ON the beach, you absolutely cannot beat the view. It’s a GORGEOUS beach. The bar and lounge area is sooo nice and they were so nice to my kids, made them hot chocolates and I got 2 drink coupons and I had a drink and my kids had a virgin strawberry daiquiri. The hotel offers the use of their bikes too which is a huge perk! I mean they truly covered things. I peaked in the redone rooms and they are loved, truly tastefully done!

So all in all, I definitely would recommend staying here… I’d probably even stay in the beach rooms again even though they are outdated and the rugs need replaced… but if that makes you nervous don’t think twice about staying in the new rooms that aren’t beach front, you are still super super close to the beach.
but hotel staff… PLEASE GET RID of the rugs and steam those floors!!!!

I put 1 star, but only because zero starts was not an option. We stayed here at the same time as a wedding party did. Several members of the wedding party reported their room keys didn’t work multiple times, and several members of the party had things stolen out of their rooms. They had over $2000 cash stolen, jewelry, and credit cards. The credit card was used for $500, but thankfully the card company had already been contacted so the transaction was declined. These people are thieves, do not stay here.
