I was promised that when I walked out we would have a diagnosis in hand he does not take insurance so I had to pay $350 and walked out without a diagnosis but an upcoming appointment for another $350. If you have insurance find a Doctor that will take insurance as this place does not take insurance and you will not walk out with a diagnosis

This group doesn't take insurance. An evaluation a child needs for school is $350, you pay it and have to pay another $150- the hourly rate- just to get results.
When there is a medical emergency, even during pandemic times, they still want to charge a fee if you miss an appointment, even if you call hours ahead and never miss your other appointments.
Go somewhere that accepts your insurance, that will provide flexibility for you and your family, while not going broke.

Dr Shanova has helped me unbelievably! I see her at the lake worth office with the lovely, Rebecca who greets me when I walk in. I am 42 yrs young & I’ve been an RN for 16 years. I sadly struggle with Major Clinical Depression & ADHD since I am 19 years old. From a patient standpoint, Dr Shanova has helped me like no one ever has in my entire life. I have gotten wonderful treatment up in New York but nothing like this. She spends so much time with me talking getting to know me and putting me on the meds that I need. She is so intelligent from a nurses perspective because she’s had experience in-office and in facilities therefore broadening her education & experience- That is crucially important. She KNOWS HER MEDICATIONS & IS BRILLIANT- One thing about being a nurse is you know good physicians from bad physicians right away. She is definitely a wonderful physician. The only thing I can say about the negative/low star ratings is, take in account that it may be from people that might not be in the right state of mind at this time- it happens it’s not their fault. For me, Dr Shanova was able to diagnose me properly (I have been misdiagnosed the past), guide me, and give me the proper medication I needed. Having a mental health issue, is very hard to accept, but Dr Shanova understands and I thank God for her! Their office is so professional & Rebecca is the best! She has gone above and beyond for me with prescription medications that were not covered by my insurance, saving me close to $900 dollars in savings!!! She was a lifesaver too! Since psychiatrists are private pay in South Florida they can charge you anything they want. I have had quotes up to $500 for follow up visits on medicine management only and $750 for initial assessments. Dr Shanova is a steal for only $150 follow up visits! I highly recommend her to anyone Family or friend. Thank God for this office! It was the answer to my prayers.

I've been to the Banyan Group several times over the course of many years during different times of my life and I've always found them to be a great help. I've also taken one of my children there and have always been pleased with their services for him. They are super friendly, professional, and always have been willing to work with me, even when I had no insurance.

Psychiatrist gave child medication that she shouldn’t of taken. Ended up in hospital. Also cannot understand what she says due to heavy accent. Doctor never returned call after being told what happened
