There's so much to say about Banyan in Sebring. I immediately felt comfortable and safe with the staff. They are very respectful and helpful in a genuine way. T, Dez, Shonti, Shay and Tony have done nothing but welcomed me into the facility with open arms. They are so caring and understanding of each individual so that the patients can grow and heal. The facility is very clean and the food is phenomenal.

I would recommend Banyan Sebring to anyone who is actually ready to heal and grow, and if you're not, you will within the first couple of days of being here. I've already seen growth in myself and can't wait to see the man I become when I leave here.

Great place, amazing staff! They truly care about each individual. Everyone is so compassionate and supportive and it’s a very comfortable, homey environment. So glad I trusted them for care and definitely recommend! Oh, and again, AMAZING STAFF!!! Love them all.

This facility has been a wonderful place to come and work on my trauma and grief. From the facilitators like Maribel to the Intake coordinators like Marley, the BHT workers, and even all the housekeeping and kitchen staff, there wasn’t a moment when I didn’t feel cared for and valued during my darkest moments. Throughout my stay here for healing I have made some wonderful friends and memories as well as learned some valuable lessons to apply moving forward. Will always remember my stay here a Banyan Sebring!

Miss Shanti, Miss Che, the Executive Director Jana, the group facilitator’s Melissa, Shauna & Maribel have been nothing short of exceptional during my stay here at Banyan. As a recipient of prior trauma in my younger years at previous residential centers, Banyan made me feel the most safe and it gave me the space I needed in order to process my trauma. Even when there was a discrepancy, it was always CONSISTENTLY taken care of right away and with the upmost kindness. My life has forever been positively impacted as a result of my stay here and while I know the real work lies within me, they gave me the coping strategies I needed in order to move forward successfully outside of treatment. The facility was clean and housekeeping did a phenomenal job every day with always giving us clean sheets and clean towels and various snacks. They work with your insurance and with multiple different payment options. I had a lot of flexibility in terms of my treatment and what I felt I needed and they were very responsive to that. I was never pacified and my voice was always heard. ❤️

I was very happy with my experience in treatment at Banyan in Sebring. Every single employee actually cares about the clients. This is the first treatment facility I've been to for dual Dx of substance use and mental health where they gave focus on mental health and not just substance use disorder. Some of the most hard working people there were the case managers Shontanique and of course mine, Shay Weatherspoon. The counselor Melissa was an amazing facilitator. My therapist Dana was thorough and thoughtful. Also, Ranisha was amazing as a group therapist. Dez, Paula, and Virnine were excellent techs that took care of me and were easy to talk to. Overall, the best treatment facility I've ever been to. Accomodations for my vegan diet, clean rooms, worthwhile group and individual therapy, and delicious food

I have never visited the site since it's almost 3 hours from where I'm at. I agree with other reviews that it is VERY difficult to get a hold of the personnel, even after I was given names and their phone numbers. The best way to get a hold of someone is to email, and involve the sales/relationship person.

I called the number that was given for a contact and got someone else's voicemail greeting. I'm guessing it's either a rotating door there where the personnel changes so often that the new one didn't have a chance to update voicemail greeting, or personnel doesn't care. I do wonder if this is a norm across the recovery industry.

There's someone who works remotely that stays in touch with me more often though they're not onsite or one of the staff members. Probably a sales/relationship person.

They're strong on their business development side; getting patients and family to use their facility. Months after the family members left the facility, I still get their marketing email. Most recent one is about a summit in February with Dr. Drew Pinsky as the keynote speaker.

I'm not a patient so I don't what the experience inside is like but as someone who is allowed to check on the status of the patient, I would recommend finding a more responsive facility.

1. They do not respond to how the patient is doing; whether or not responsive to treatment or not, recommended treatment

2. I got an email response that said they will update me when they have discharge date. They did not. I found out patient was being discharged 2 days before I had to go to another state for a few days. I found out from the patient when they called.

3. They did not say WHERE the patient was heading to. I found also found that out from the patient.

This place has been tremendous help to me. The staff truly cares and goes out on a limb to help. The groups are great as well. I couldn't haven't done this by myself. I'm forever grateful for they have helped me find myself again.
