Bariatric Psychological Assessment

Today is 12.29.2023- I made an appointment with this Doctors office since The ending of October- spoke to the office numerous of times and even gave them my adopted sons insurance over the phone. They called me back in December to advise they needed a referral and today they call to tell me he isn’t able to be seen 5 days before the appointment I waited Over a month for I find this to be very unprofessional and as they did call to apologize it doesn’t take the time I have to wait again to be seen elsewhere. I feel like the ball was dropped numerous of times and all this could have been prevented. Update- Dr. Carol did reach out to me in regards to insurance coverage and the verification process. Looks like medical coverage and automatic charges were the mix up here. Dr Carol went above and beyond to try to get my son seen. But I have to make some coverage changes and she will squeeze us in! Thank you for taking the time to hear me out and getting to the bottom of this miscommunication!

My son had an assessment with Dr. McLean just yesterday. Her office manager responded to my every inquiry in a timely manner (email response is great). They are friendly and compassionate. During a gut wrenching time, Dr. McLean does not beat around the bush. She tells you like it is, in a compassionate manner. I can feel that she truly cares for children. Since our appointment and diagnosis happened just yesterday, we have a lot of work ahead of us- a lot of changes will happen for our family. However I must say, Dr. McLean and her office manager Jocelyn made us as comfortable as possible. Dr. McLean offered her support if I have follow up questions. I assume I will.

This is a year late... But!! Carol Mclean accessed my 3.5 yr old at the time and Carol Mclean confirmed my suspicion of my daughter having autism and being developmentally delayed. If it wasnt for her I wouldnt know were we will be. Cause of her I got my daughter in therapy right away and fought my school district to re access her and not put her on the waitlist for developmental preschool and now my daughter is thriving. Talking like you wouldnt believe and all it took was proof from Carol Mclean Physc eval to prove my daughter needed help and she got it!!! My daughter is even entering kindergarten early this fall. I am so thankful for Carol Mclean

This practice is awesome Carol and her team were so great in assessing my son, I mean they are so detailed and very professional I was finally able to get some answers and taken seriously, my son finally had his diagnosis and is able to get his services that he needs.They are very attentive and compassionate.
