If you're considering this place for you or your children and you came here for the reviews to see, trust the reviews. I took a chance on them and I've been disappointed over and over again, I'm not sure why I didn't switch sooner. Brooksville baycare office on Cortez Blvd . 🤮 My daughter had an appointment today via telehealth and we signed in and waited.... Now she missed school for this because I don't have transportation to go pick her up from school right now My vehicle is broken down. They will not give me a doctor's note. And now they're making me reschedule the appointment that I kept her home for... But won't allow telehealth this time as if my daughter's being punished for it. I have six children I do not want to have to bring six children into this place, mind the last time I did this, My children had to witness a screaming and cussing battle amongst people who seem to be under the influence of some substance... I was very happy to have telehealth now that I didn't have to bring my children back to that place. And now the only appointment they will reschedule is one in person. WHICH IS NOT IN PERSON. They make you drive down there and sit in a small room with a TV screen. I literally have to pack up all six of my children and bring them into a room with medical equipment everywhere and expect every child to be quiet and sit still including a new baby . . so that my daughter can focus on the doctor on a TV. She does not get one-on-one time with this doctor. This is Dr herrero . She does not get one-on-one time , so my other children will be distracting her Which has happened in the past. It was a terrible experience. Visiting in person is no different than over the phone because you do not get to see the doctor in person. There is literally no difference. This place has been very unprofessional from the beginning. And if you really care about your child and what they're going through, then seek the best care because that's what I'm going to do. I gave this place a shot and they've disappointed me every time. Her mental health means a lot to me, and This place is no longer an option. Do better parents. They show no interest in caring for others . 🤮 Getting this appointment done should be a priority. I will be looking elsewhere. After the treatment I've gotten today. I suggest anyone with kids do so too.
Edit : after expressing my concerns , I received a call back saying I had to come in with the children and that everybody brings their children in so that shouldn't be an issue... Well not everybody cares about their children and what they see... And I'm not everybody's parent. I'm a parent who would rather protect my child's mental health and do a telehealth appointment where they're safe and have privacy , versus bringing my child in an exposing them to the weird stuff that happens in and out of the office. I shouldn't have to explain to my kids why a person is screaming curse words and bending allover the place , or why a young adult is so mad they're cursing over the phone to someone such fowl things. Meanwhile staff and everyone is laughing and I'm so upset my kids had to experience it . Nobody else took it serious . So I asked for telehealth from there on out and it always worked. Except this one time when the DR wasn't signed in to the meeting , we waited 138pm till157pm because I did not want to miss it. so I called the office to make sure everything was fine and we were on track and that's something didn't happen, only for them to tell me I have to come in now with all of my kids. I'm alone , I have no help. Kids should be #1 priority . I should not have to expose my kids to drug addict behavior and violence in order for them to see a Dr.

They really don't know how to deal with mental health people very good. I've tried to change my medicine. Doctor because she's just not good for me. And they tell me no, they won't change my doctor I have to work it out. I don't think that's a very good mental health place. Because you shouldn't do that to a patient Also, there was a mix up with their pharmacy. The pharmacy told my doctor I wasn't picking up my medications and I had 3 bottles at home. But my medicine doctor would not believe me. She kept asking me, Susan. Where did you get the medication from? And I kept repeating myself Y'all gave me three bottles ahead of time until my program went through to pay for the medication

ok lets talk about the doctor did not get rid about the affects that making me prevent to sleep. i had a phosphene eye so google it up then. i don't want to take that medicine because its gonna get worse. like bruh why my parents making me turning into karen and now i am not exist anymore or either a karen stoles my soul. PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DO NOT GO TO THIS BAYCARE CENTER! ITS DANGEROUS! FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE THAT HAVE BUNCH OF 5 STARS!

I am so disappointed and upset with this healthcare facility. My granddaughter has been seeing a doctor there for over a year. We are always early. sometimes we have to wait past our time and the Dr. apologizes. This time traffic signals and a line at the facility made us 8 minutes late. The woman at the desk asked the doctor if she was ok with that and the doctor said no!! What kind of caring is that? My granddaughter needed to see this psychiatrist and there was no compassion, no understanding. This place does not care about its patients. I never felt that the doctor even remembered my granddaughter and she only wanted to keep dispensing pills and collect a paycheck. Wow!

I would love to leave a good review because I really like my therapist. The problem is the inconsistency of care. This facility has an on going shortage of therapist which makes it very difficult to make progress in your individual treatment plan. I don't know why they cannot secure enough therapist and perhaps they should stop taking new clients. I have never experienced this type of inconsistent mental health care. If you are need of weekly or bi-weekly support, please go somewhere else. I see my therapist once a month and I need to move on myself.

This place sucks but if you live in Hernando county you have no damn choice. Told three different things trying to get intake. No success. Was told I could be seen within a couple of days and when I got to the office they said I couldn't be seen until October what is wrong with you people. I'm going to solace behavioral health and you should too.

melisa specifically was rather horrible. she'd talk of her dislike for her job, said she wished she had one of my issues, called me stupid outright to my father, and (i'm not fully sure of this one) claimed my acquaintance needed to "get over" their eating disorder. she had also discharged me for "looking as if i was doing better" without solid proof or addressing the issues she suspected i may have had.
melisa if you see this, reconsider your profession. you did not do a great job.

I've had all good experiences so far. My therapist is nice, I like the psych Dr a lot. It is hard to get an appt sometimes but they're booked because a lot of people need therapy. Honestly I think it's important to remember therapists and staff are also people. Therapists call out when they have bad days and it's inconvenient but they probably have mental health problems because they listen to all your problems all day. So when they aren't there it's probably needed for them to take a break.
