Emergency room is terrific very knowledgeable helpful staff. My husband was there recently and they admitted him to do MRI next day which they did early next morning and Dr gave him results of it then but they told my husband he had to wait to see the neurologist and he would be up that day to see him we waited all day and night Dr never showed then they told my husband would be in next morning never showed. In the meantime my husband is not hooked up even to an IV nothing else wrong with him but his back and they tell him he has to stay in bed needless to say my husband checked himself out they were just padding the bill think the state commission of hospitals should check on this hospital. No reason why they couldn't have released my husband with a referral for neurologist visit. We will not be returning to that hospital in the future run don't walk to another hospital don't recommend Bayonet Point anyone

I had been sick for a couple of months; my doctors couldn't figure out what was wrong, and I checked myself into the ER as a last effort to get better.

In the ER, I was met by several nurses and doctors who genuinely cared about helping me. Specifically: Andrea, RN; Nasiag,RN; Veronica, RN; Kristina, XRAY TECH; Cayse, CT TECH; and Dr. Lindburg, MD. They each made me feel confident that they not only cared about my illness but that they would work hard to figure out the cause.

Upon admission to the 3rd floor, I was thoroughly impressed with the level of care I received. There are so many people who made a difference to me, that I'm sure I forgot to get everyone's names, but I tried, and will be writing a long letter to the hospital praising the quality care given. Every single person I met went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed to make my stay better. The housekeepers, transporters, maintenance workers, dietary personnel, nurses, doctors, and EVERYONE were compassionate and caring. There are a few I'd like to mention by name because they truly deserve recognition.

First and foremost, Caressa, RN, nurse leader;  She made sure I knew that I could go to her with everything because she wanted the best for both her nurses AND her patients.  At 8:00 p.m., CARESSA was still here, giving me pain medication and an ice pack before leaving for the night. She put in a full day yet still cared enough to make sure I was given what I needed to start the night off in as little pain as possible.  Caressa,  thank you.  What you do is noticed and is so very much appreciated.  You are God's angel on earth.  Thank you so much for the love and care you gave.
Lisa, Dietary – very pleasant, helpful. Made sure the food was within reach and offered assistance if anything else was needed. Most of all, though, she's a kind, FRIENDLY person.
Brooke, PHLEBOTOMIST – Brooke is really someone special. She was my phlebotomist every morning since I arrived, and she’s got the best attitude! She’s always smiling, she has a wonderful bedside manner, she explains what’s needed and why, she’s patient and caring and very considerate of what the patient needs. She’s skilled at her job, finding veins and getting blood on the first try, then offering assistance with whatever else might be needed before she leaves. As a patient, we never look forward to getting blood drawn, but I DID always look forward to seeing Brooke in the morning.
SHERRY, ENVIRONMENTS SERVICES – Very friendly, funny, ready with a joke, professional, even humming while she works. It's obvious she loves her work, loves making patients feel better, loves people!
MEGAN, RN – Megan is an amazing nurse, very caring and concerned. MEGAN: you, of all the nurses I've met and seen, deserve recognition; you are such a joy to be a around, you worked hard to ensure I was being taken excellent care of, that I was as pain free as possible, that my meds were given on time, that my questions were answered – even questions that my doctors didn't answer, you called and GOT an answer for me. That's above and beyond!! You have a great sense of humor, and helping patients laugh is healing. You give 100% of yourself to patients, you love what you do, and it shows, so THANK YOU! Thank you so much for being my nurse.
WILNER, PCT – He came in and introduced himself first thing. Brought coffee, made sure my area of the room was neat, offered assistance, and generally made me feel like he cared about my recovery. He's friendly and professional and a wonderful Patient Care Tech.
MARTINA, RN – her shift started out difficult and only got worse as the day went on! Knowing that Martina was there if I needed help gave me great comfort. Knowing that she really CARES about her patients allowed me to relax and heal.

There are so many more people, but these were exceptional. I highly recommend Bayonet Point; they'll be my hospital of choice from now on!

Left a review about poor care my wife got at the hospital. They were quick to respond they wanted to discuss. They left a phone number that went to voice mail. Left a message and never got a call back. Tried again. Voice mail said out of the office. This is a real amateur place that should be avoided if possible

I never thought a hospital that saved my life in 2019 would deteriorate to debacle they are today in 2023. I was left on a stretcher in the Emergency Room for 11 hours in agony. And once I was diagnosed as being impacted, the treatment got much worse

On 4/3/21 I and my daughter were in a car accident on US Hwy 19 in Hudson. We were both taking by ambulance to Bayonet Point Medical center. The experience there was calming after the frightening experience of the accident. We were well cared for by A ER physician who was suffering his own pain problems on that day but was so professional and caring. Thank You Doctor Victor Randoiph U made a very stressful & painful situation more bearable. This was not my first visit to Bayonet Point Medical center. I have on several different occasions been a inpatient and the quality of Service is the Reason that I will always keep going back to Bayonet Point Medical Center. ?

This is about Bayonet point also. I was at Trinity for an emergency room visit. They tried several things but were not able to resolve my loss of eyesight. They then sent me to Bayonet point to see an eye doctor via their ER. I was shipped via medical transport to see their eye doctor. Upon arrival, Bayonet Point ER doc said I was magically cured (even though I still had 80% eyesight loss and it didn’t improve). I asked to see an eye doctor and they refused. I asked for a call to consult and they refused. I asked for an appointment, and they told me to call some doctor 30 miles away 2 days from then to get an appointment. Upon conferring with the ER staff at Bayonet point they tell me they told Trinity there was no doctor available. So I now have a significant eyesight abnormality due to one or both hospital's incompetence. Quackery is how I describe my care at both facilities.

2014 Treated like garbage. I am a radiologic professional with great insurance. Unfortunatley, once I caused a DUI accident that sent all passengers to the hospital. I was crying and pleading to know about others.
They said no.
Left in a room for six hours in the back of the ER. I couldnt walk due to head trauma and knee injury, had arm in sling. Calling for help, to bathroom. I was told to shut up, i was a drunk.
Then sent to lobby to wait another six hours, untill i could call someone from work to take me home. No purse, no keys, no money. Asked for management, and patient coordinator and refused.
Worst experience of my life.

I was sick and sleeping ALOT, but the Nurses or one told my Dr. J was sleeping all the time and very Lathargic so my Sr. Cut me off of all my regular pills I take at home. I feel that someone should have tested my urine to make sure there was no infection. Now due to my Dr. Stopping all meds I cannot get the Pain under control.!!!!! I am not a junkie seeking drugs I have to have a Hip replacement ASAP, I SUFFER CHRONIC INTERSTITIAL CYSTITIS AND HAVE 3 HERNIATED DISC PLUS A FLUID SAC LEANING UPOKN MY SPINAL CORD. MY DR. WAS ONLY GIVING ME 1MG OF DILAUDIDWHEN I ASKED FOR IT EVERY 4-6hrs and the R.N. thought I was being over medicated. She couldn't have been more wrong. Thank you to that Nurse.
