I am so grateful I found Christine when I did! I was about 36 or 37 weeks pregnant when I found her and she worked too squeeze me in for as many visits as we could get before I went into labor to help me prep my body. She was attentive, caring and made me feel comfortable. She continued to check in with me during postpartum recovery which I was so grateful for. I look forward to going back once I am 6 weeks postpartum to work on my pelvic floor. Thank you Christine for all your support and individualized care.

I'm so grateful I found Christine! She has saved my back! I had bad back labor with both of my kids. During my second pregnancy I had low back pain so severe that at one point I couldn't lie down in bed when it came time to sleep. I couldn't even be adjusted by my chiropractor. It took two people to lift me off of his table. It hurt too much to move.

I wish I had found her while I was pregnant because I'm confident she could have prevented my back pain and back labor all together.

After having kids I continued to have low back pain. I have a very physical job and I knew that if I didn't figure out why I was in pain it could jeopardize my career and my ability to take care of my family. My chiropractor couldn't figure it out and I knew if I saw a doctor they would only prescribe me pain medication.

At my first session with Christine she could tell me exactly what was wrong and for the first time I felt some relief! She educated me on how pelvic muscles can affect the back.

Since then Christine has been helping me make more and more progress towards being pain free!? She is such a genuine person who cares for her patients and meets you where you are at. I know that I am in good hands.

Pain relief and baby’s position—if I could entitle my review, these are the words I would pick. Let me elaborate: I came to Christine at just about 36 weeks pregnant with lots of different kinds of pains. I had pains in my legs, groin, the area where my thigh meets my pelvis, and my butt. When I would walk around I felt like an old lady—had to move very carefully because of the pain. Baby was also suspected to be breach and was only confirmed by palpitation/touch. This also is a huge concern, because there are few drs out there who are trained to deliver breach babies. And if you can find one, it will more than likely be out of pocket. The only mainstream/standardized choice presented and pushed is to have a c-section… something I do not want unless truly medically necessary.

When I got to see Christine, she educated me on what she would do with internal releases, which got at the cause of all my pains. She explained about pelvic tension and each of the pelvic muscles connect to all these areas that were hurting. I could feel it too as she did the releases. She worked on my fascia on my belly and taught me things to do at home to help with tension. I never thought I could feel this good after seeing a PT let alone a pelvic floor PT. Something else that happened was, I believe my baby then had the space and room to move more freely in the womb. Believe it or not, pelvic tension can cause restriction to the baby and other potential issues. Ever since seeing Christine, I noticed my baby moving a lot more throughout the day and that first day he moved A TON! Not to mention, I felt so good! My pain was just about gone after all the internal releases and I was taught a couple massages. I met with her again before seeing my provider, and when I saw my specialist, I found out that baby had flipped! He was no longer breach, but finally head down!! It was such a relief!! Before this he had been suspected to be breach for 3 weeks, if not longer.

If you walk a similar path in pregnancy, Christine can help tremendously! Whether it be pain, baby’s position, both, or other issues. She’s amazing and very sweet. She’s also more affordable compared to others in her field with her experience/training. I love her so much and want to see her again when I’m postpartum to be reassessed and start working on my strength along with other things.

I am pregnant with my second child, and I’ve had a healthy but uncomfortable pregnancy this time around. I didn’t learn about pelvic floor therapy until after I had my first baby so this was my first experience with it while pregnant. I was recommended to Christine by a friend who had recently started seeing her and had nothing but wonderful things to say about her experience. I started seeing her around 35 weeks pregnant. I had been experiencing chronic lower belly and lower back pain that was sometimes debilitating, and my baby was in an awkward, uncomfortable position. After the first appointment, I felt drastically different. She spent so much time listening to me and really looking for what the cause of the pain was. I have had a lot of body work this pregnancy, but she was the first one to catch all the things going on. I left feeling hopeful and empowered and so much better. She taught me ways to keep my body feeling better, too. I’ve continued to see her weekly, and my body and my baby’s position have totally transformed. She is so encouraging and knowledgeable, and she is such a good teacher. I always leave feeling uplifted and I understand my body so much better now. Her wisdom and experience are obvious. I’ve already told everyone I know to go see her. I am so grateful to have found her, and I’m going into birth confident. I also know my postpartum experience will be completely different from my first baby because I’ll have her on my team. I’m looking forward to continuing to see her and discovering all the ways I can actually be and feel my best!

Christy is the BEST!! I didn’t know about pelvic floor therapy with my first pregnancy and I was finally introduced to Christy from my midwife and she made the WORLD of a difference for my second pregnancy. She is so knowledgeable and helps you understand your body. She helped me with so much pain and tension I was having throughout my pregnancy and she also helped get baby girl in the right position. She made the end of pregnancy bearable and prepared my body so well for birth. I cannot recommend her enough, I tell all my pregnant friends they need to see her. She’s also just the sweetest human!

I am 40 weeks pregnant with my 6th baby and I had the honor of working with Christy at Be Your Best Mama PT. This was my 1st experience with preparing my body for labor with pelvic floor therapy. In a previous postpartum season, I had worked with a PT through my insurance but the experience did not hold a candle to the quality, expertise and thoroughness provided by Christy. She provided me with so much education and practical instruction on how to care for my body, her treatments were so helpful and provided incredible relief to pains I thought were normal for pregnancy. Turns out, prior to working with Christy, I was living in pain unnecessarily. In one treatment she was able to move my baby from a poor position against my hip to an optimal (and much more comfortable) position for birth. I am feeling incredibly empowered and thankful to have had the opportunity to work with Christy at Be Your Best Mama PT.
