I’m pleased to write this well deserved stellar 5 star review of my experiences and preliminary diagnosis from April Nolan CEO M.ED.,CCC-SLP, Pearce and Janee my (current pathologist), I’ve received a very thorough and in depth prognosis on my debilitating vocal irritation, that I’ve been suffering with for over fifty years and countless doctors evaluations with no cures or remedies.
During my very first visit, April through her empathetic and compassionate listening of my vocal irritation complaints made arrangements to Dr. Golgert a highly esteemed ENT in Santa Barbara California for a consultation appointment on December 30th 2024. I’m very pleased to be part of April’s practice, her office staff is gracious, kind and helpful. I’m very fortunate to have found April’s practice in Atascadero. Update on my appointment with Dr. Golgert’s PA Raquel Romero, PA Romero performed a comprehensive examination of my sinus issues and found a small matter in the back of my throat and took a culture of it for a lab to analyze, I’m awaiting the results in a couple of weeks.

Unfortunately, I Want to inform people that there are better options out in our community for speech therapy. If you read the reviews, they all say the same thing. The business practices that go on inside this office almost feels like thievery. Several families and I came together and spoke about this business and with a heavy heart, I decided to warn people on the website. There are other speech therapy programs now available to us in the North County and before committing to beyond speech therapy, I would highly recommend that you look into other options with a heavy heart Good luck This is not a review. It is just a warning to look for other options.

We are so grateful for Beyond Speech Therapy. Our two year old only had a handful of words. He has only been going a few weeks and we already noticed a difference. Katie his speech therapist is amazing. You can tell she loves children as well as her job. We did a lot of research when looking for a place to take our son and I can say that Beyond Speech Therapy is beyond the best place to take your child on the central coast!!

We had a wonderful experience at Beyond Speech Therapy. At two years only my son wouldn’t repeat words or even sounds. We took him to Beyond Speech Therapy and he made a rapid improvement. Today his language skills are excellent. I’m so glad we made the decision to get help early on.
Our insurance plan has a high deductible, and my son didn't qualify for care through Tri Counties because he was just above their cutoff scores. Because of this I knew we would have out of pocket expenses. Beyond Speech Therapy was completely transparent about the cost. They worked with me to let me know how much each session would be.
The therapy was worth every penny. My son is a happy, well adjusted child who can clearly communicate and shows no signs whatsoever of an early speech delay. I really believe the therapy he received actually advanced his development beyond his speech. My son is very bright and excelling in school.

I’m so glad my son’s pediatrician referred us to Beyond Speech Therapy. My son is on the Autism spectrum and ever since he started speech therapy services with Ms.Sarah we have seen improvement. Ms.Sarah genuinely loves her job and goes above and beyond to help my son reach his goals in speech. Ms.Sarah is so sweet, kind, and very patient. “Next on the waiting list” for 2 years! What a joke. Every 6 months or so they made an appointment for my daughter and every time they canceled it, assuring me we were “next”. Well, my daughter is now a teenager, she never got the evaluation she needed from this place. Thankfully her speech issue self corrected with time.

We highly recommend Beyond Speech Therapy! Our daughter has been seeing Miss Katie for almost a year now and everyone has noticed a huge change in her speech! Everyone at beyond Speech therapy has been so helpful from insurance claims to therapy.

This is the hardest review I've ever written 🙁 We as a family are coming forward hoping other families will not suffer the way we did. We as a family have been involved in speech therapy for over 20 years. We have five children with speech issues and have been involved in multiple multiple speech programs over the years.We came to Beyond Speech Therapy to give our children a voice. We unfortunately had to move on and find other services. Brianna the office manager was rude abrasive and became at times unbearable. April the owner has good intentions but unfortunately always seems overwhelmed and has trouble managing her business. When it comes to their finances they have gone through multiple office finance managers. I'm not sure I'm saying that correctly but when it comes to their billing it's awful. We as families in the north county are very limited on our therapy services. I did not want to come forward and post this but after all we have been through and the sleepless nights I wanted to come forward hoping other families do not feel the way we do and will continue to. We have found out with research that there are other speech therapy services in the north county and will be moving forward with them.
