Body & Soul Community Counseling Services

Me and my wife are currently clients at body and soul. I am an ex addict with trauma and she is not an addict but uses services for her childhood trauma, PTSD and OCD. This program is an extremely helpful and useful tool in recovery. I have been using it for over a year. My wife is newly signed on. We enjoy so many benefits from this program. More places like this should exist to help people. I want to personally give a five star to my old counselor Randy who was great when I had him, he helped me get through the tough first year of sobriety, and helped me make it to every appointment and court date aswell as took me to meetings with AA. Though I switched due to distance recently. My current counselor Lindsey deserves above five stars as well. Lindsey brought my newly acquired wife in to be a client and actually helps not just me but her as well. Lindsey has been extremely helpful to our situation in recovery and regularly encourages productive change and even helps better our living environment. She has helped tremendously with my wife in many aspects of her life. She has helped with food, job seeking/resume, important appointments, counseling/talking through tough situations, even helped organize our place and has generally helped with both of our recovery processes. We want to continue services for as long as we can! It's amazing what it can do for someone to have this type of help. Thanks body and soul!

I've had the pleasure of working at Body and Soul for the past two years, and I truly value the flexible work schedule, the opportunity to support and serve our clients, and the meaningful community outreach we engage in.

I was in this program for over a year and I can tell you, they take advantage of the mentally ill & mistreat them. Well my personal experience. Today I was just kicked out of my BHT car cause I asked him to not park in front of the domestic violence home I currently reside in. Curses me out and talks to me any kind of way when he forgets to do things I signed up for. The place WORSENED MY MENTAL HEALTH AND MADE ME FEEL WORTHLESS.

I started going to Body and Soul about six months ago. Everyone there is very professional and take the time to understand the needs of their clients. I was assigned Randy as my BHT he has always gone above and beyond for me. I highly recommend Body and Soul Counseling Services

Elizabeth was an awesome case manager and BHT she was attentive to my mother as she came by and brought food very thoughtful great person she was very professional and personable great work ethic she’s an awesome person my mother talks great about her my mother loves her so much my mother says she’s just like family to her .My mother’s face always lights up every time she sees her. Elizabeth has been a blessing to our family. She’s compassionate, well versed in scripture, gentle when needed but also firm when necessary.
