It’s like a private school for everybody . They have sections for different levels of disabilities most kids chill funny af in my class most teachers good. Most of kids in my program had anxiety depression PTSD some adhd. they put autism and everything more severe different section and treat physical disabilities. They treat everything lots of nurses ot pt one to one aides. My program didn’t feel like a special school I love this school so many memories it’s like a lil family. When my sending district didn’t wanna take me back after ocean academy wanted me out they made it best they can for me and everyone u gonna be chill af here happy. There is no abuse of students there is abuse of teachers seen it with my eyes. Also sending districts make ieps plans that cmc special services has almost no control over so start putting fault on that. Was in wrong program for years ONLY BECAUSE SENDING DISTRICT FORCED IT OCEAN ACADEMY NEVER AGREED!

I was so upset when my son was referred to attend this school. I was wrong!!!!! The teachers are amazing the staff are kind and my son has excelled since attending. They created a environment that fits his needs and as a parent of a child with special needs they helped me feel comfortable with how he deals with his issues as well as how they deal with it. I know that sending to this school was one of the best decisions I have ever made.

As a student who used to go to this school, I am quite surprised that the Google maps page has 5 stars. From daily physical abuse cases (which never went anywhere) to teachers talking smack behind kids backs (especially the ones who cant stand up for themselves) ect. So many bad things go on in that school, its horrible. I am purposely trying not to go into to much detail here but there is sooooo much more I could say. And not nice things. Hope this helped someone, a student a parent or a future employee.

Ps: please don't take this down. Also, Florida is nice.
