Melanie has been such a pleasure to work with! I started therapy with her when I was going through one of the worst season of my life. Her therapy sessions, coupled with EMDR therapy over the last couple of months, have made all the difference! I’m in a much better place now. I would highly recommend Cavallaro Counseling to anyone looking for true help with marriage counseling, mental health or if you are dealing with trauma. My husband and I have been seeing Melanie for marriage counseling and though we both went in with our own objectives one thing was clear we needed help and help from someone that would hear us and understand our complex issues and provide guidance and support during what was a very hard time in our 22 years together. When we first started seeing Melanie we were both uneasy and thought this would be a waste of our time and effort! Looking back on our journey it truly was and is a blessing we found Melanie and with her support and guidance we have learned how to be better partners to one another and better parents and all around mentally healthier! If you are looking for a true professional for counseling please consider using Cavallaro Counseling! Last year my wife and I found ourself in a very difficult times. We have been together pretty much since high-school and years later we starting have marital issues on a higher level than we had experienced before. My wife thought that counseling was the way to go and I reluctantly agreed to attend 2 sessions! Fast forward we are doing so much better today! Melanie will lessen and advise and support both husband and wife and guide without judgement. You need to make an appointment with Melanie because “Success as a Therapist is not found in doing something for a client, but rather in being someone for a client” and this is just what she does!
