My daughter came from public school and is now a completely different student. I was highly worried about middle school since its a highly difficult transition from elementary in the public school system. Since enrolled at Center Academy, her confidence level has tremendously increased as well as her self esteem and academic grades. She is highly focused and improving like never before. She loves her school and is very happy we made the change. The class sizes are small with their own cubicle. I am so happy we made the decision in enrolling her. The director, teachers and staff are prompt and attentive to the student's needs. I highly recommend Center Academy Prep.

My daughter attends this school and she loves it. The teachers are very experienced in working with kids in the Autism Spectrum. I love that this is a small school geared only towards kids with special needs. There’s 0 tolerance for bullying! The kids have to be respectful to all the teachers and classmates. We consider Center Academy Prep to be a blessing to our family. Thank you to the Director, the staff and everyone that makes this school special!

Center Academy Prep is a dream come true for my family. My son struggled in both public and private schools before finding CAP. The organized and direct approach to academics is a straight path for most any child’s success. The staff and teachers are kind and supportive. The environment is so comfortable and inviting therefore the growing and learning is endless.
In the short time he has been at CAP, my son went from an anxiety ridden, truant, doubtful little boy who put in little to no academic effort. His grades are now better than ever and most importantly he likes school! He attends school happily, he’s optimistic everyday, and his confidence is shining.
We could not be more pleased with CAP.

This school is really awesome. I switched my 9th grade daughter here from another private school and the difference is unbelievable. It's been 2 years, going on 3 now, and we've never looked back. This is the best school for her and we are very happy with the education she is receiving. If you are having any doubts, don't. They care about the students and they really work with them individually to make them into productive functioning adults. I have seen great changes and improvements in my daughter since she has been going to Center Academy Prep.

Center Academy is an answer to prayer! Our son has struggled in school since elementary. He managed to get by but with low grades. The work load was overwhelming with all the homework and special projects; it was always a struggle to keep up. Since he started at Center Academy, he has been able to achieve much better grades with a lighter workload. The better grades have helped him feel more capable and have motivated him to press on. Mrs. Cooper is an exceptional director who really cares about the students and is involved with them at every level. Hats off for such an amazing job!

Our son is a 6th grade student, and is in his 2nd year as a student at Center Academy. He has high functioning autism and ADHD, with no behavioral issues. He did very well at our local public elementary school (with an IEP), but we knew he would benefit more from a smaller class environment once he entered middle school. We are very happy with our choice in Center Academy. As a small school it has a very calm atmosphere, teachers are patient and supportive, and bullying is never tolerated. Ms. Cooper is very responsive and interactive with parents as director, and teacher-parent communication is great. We are looking forward to returning to school next year!

We have been so pleased with Center Academy! The small school size and student/teacher ratio is perfect for students with learning disabilities. Barbara Cooper and her staff help students not only with their academic growth but also in their personal development. This is so vital for young teens, especially those with a history of struggles. Barbara Cooper is like having another parent for your child; she is caring, compassionate & fair, yet firm when needed. She is by far the best school director we've encountered! This is truly a very special school!

It is a shame that the only two reviews are written prior to Mrs. Cooper becoming the Principal/Director. She has completely changed the culture and community of Center Academy. Nothing mentioned in the reviews from 5 and 2 years ago exist anymore.

Our daughter had her best year in school. The individualized attention was exactly what we had been looking for after years of the one size fits all public school approach. She made great improvements in math and reading. Our daughter actually looked forward to going to school. Teachers were always available to talk to us.
