Without Center Academy I don't know where my son would be! This school is amazing!! Every single staff member is awesome! The students are their #1 priority! Ms V treats every student like her own. Mr Guido is amazing and runs a tight ship but still makes it fun. The kids love and respects him so much!! My son has been there since 6th grade and is now a senior. Love, love, love this school!!

My son has been attending Center Academy for over 3 years now and my wife and I are super impressed with his growth academically and socially. He came to Center academy feeling discouraged and had lost all his confidence. Center Academy really has elevated him and worked to fill the gaps in the areas he struggled in. They treat every student and parent like family and if I have any concerns etc … I truly feel like I have an open door policy with Mrs Vitanza ( administrator who we absolutely adore and who cares deeply for all the kiddos ) and Mr. Guido ( current director ) who is extremely organized and well versed in kids with learning disabilities and thrives in helping each student succeed !

I would definitely recommend this school to people who have children with special needs, It was the best decision I made for the welfare of my children. My son graduated second best in his class and my daughter will probably graduate first in her class. The staff is great and have always gone out of their way to make everyone feel welcomed and are always trying to find a way to keep the children happy, secure and inspire. I have been there many years and I've seen the growth and change most of the students have gone through by attending the school. I truly recommended.

Amazing place for my son! They changed his life and he now has big dreams of being a doctor! In public school, he was a D-F student and I was told he was the worst case. Every day I would get a call or email about him being a "problem" child. At Center Academy, he has all As and a couple Bs with very rigorous work. I was told he was a pleasure to be around and that he is very respectful to everyone! This school is the best school possible for High-Functioning Austic kids! Thank you for changing our lives!

We moved to Florida a year ago and our children entered the public school system. At first everything seemed to be going smoothly, as the year progressed our son who is diagnosed with learning disabilities, autism and ADHD would refuse to go to school and would come home frustrated. I spoke to his doctor who recommended a few private schools for our special needs child. I called Center Academy spoke with Ms. Vitanza for about 30 minutes and she gave me information about scholarships, the enrollment process and we set an appointment to tour the school. We met with Mr. Kelly to discuss our concerns and how our son would fit into his school. When we left the meeting there wasn't a doubt in our mind that we found the perfect fit for our son. We've seen such a huge change with our son, he comes home proud to show his classwork and test grades, he has even shown an interest in sports and other extra curricular activities provided at Center Academy. Our son's teacher Ms. Tenison loves teaching and truly wants to see her students succeed. Center Academy has created a family environment between students and parents by hosting a variety of family oriented activities, which to me show that the staff really loves what they do and love the children that attend their school.

This school saved my son, He was bullied in public school and nothing was done, His self-esteem was crushed! Then I found Center Academy, within 6 months he was transformed into a Happy, outgoing and focused Student, He actually loved going to school everyday! Do not send your child to this school if he/she has special needs. They are not equipped to handle the accommodations that they advertise on their website. You’ll pay thousands of dollars to have your child sit in a student cubicle and do worksheets all day, which is called an “individualized education plan”. Your child will only be included in small group learning if he/she is deemed “on level” with an available group. It was a complete waste of time and money. In addition, depending on the number of children enrolled in a grade, your child may not be able to move up to their appropriate grade level classroom each year.
