Our son has been at Center for several years now, he started middle school there and has just completed 11th grade. His prior school was excellent and we were so concerned about finding another good fit for him. Center was an excellent choice! He settled in right away, he enjoys school, loves the staff and students. His grades are excellent but he also a well grounded, compassionate young man. He is confident about himself and his future, so are we. Thank you Center!

My son has attended Center Academy Pinellas Park since the 5th grade and he is now in 10th grade. I proudly work in the public school system and believe in the importantance of it, but not all children fit this model. He did attend public school in elementary and as the years passed it was evident that he needed a much smaller environment where he can receive more individualized attention. Failure at Center Academy is not an option and any supports needed are immediately put in place by the staff. Any concerns that my son or I have had is addressed immediately. The teachers and staff are top notch and it is evident that they love what they do and want to be there. Before entering Center Academy, he hated school, refused to do homework, and his anxiety level was so excessive that getting him to school each day and keeping him there was a nightmare. My son is on the ASD, extremely ADHD and suffers from severe anxiety. His favorite part of Center Academy is that there is no homework at all. All work is done in school. They also have a wonderful before and after care that is run by the teachers and staff at the school. The school has sports teams that my son is involved in and loves it! I am grateful that someone mentioned this school to me years ago when we were struggling as to what to do to best support his education because he has to go to school, but where? We have never looked back but only forward as he is looking so forward to graduating in 2 years. He will look back at his earlier years in elementary school and describe the tough time he had and will say, I am so glad that I am at Center Academy. He does realize what a privilege it is to be there and has made amazing friendships along the way. I can't say enough great things about this school! 🙂

My son has been at Center Academy for almost two years now and is very happy there. He likes all of his teachers and enjoys good relationships with the other students. We have tried other private schools in the past and he was miserable at them. I love it that he has PE every day and that the school does a good job of getting the kids outside a lot.

The worst school experience ever! My son had a scholarship to go to this school. The scholarship did not cover the full tuition so I was set up on a payment plan. This payment plan they set up had my last payment coming in the week after school closed. Two weeks prior to school letting out they closed my account and my sons account not allowing him to see any of his completed assignments grades or anything. We were unable to turn in any late assignments or view grades until the last payment was sent through. Again this is not because I didn’t pay them this was the payment plan and dates that they chose. All they seem to care about was when their next payment was coming and how they were getting money I never had a positive conversation with anyone on staff due to this problem. The lack of communication and organization is insane. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to attend most of the events due to last minute changes and bad schedules. They even changer the school hours the last week of school so confusing. Now that I’ve switched my son to a new school I called in and ask for his transcripts the first thing out of the office ladies mouth is we can only send those to you if you’ve paid your balance. It’s paid in full. If they don’t wanna take kids without high income families they probably shouldn’t accept scholarships I’ve never been treated so wrong and poorly before due to money. Again all of my payments made were on time and in full.

What a positive transformation I have seen in my daughter since attending Center Academy! Every day, every homework assignment, every test was a struggle for her to get through. There were many mornings she would spend crying because she didn't want to go to school. Since attending Center Academy this year, she has not complained about going to school, she is not embarrassed to ask questions in class, she is participating in extracurricular activities and has made many new friends. The teachers know what they are doing and they know how to teach her how to learn. They encourage her and ensure that she's on task and that she understands the lesson. I marvel at the patience and understanding given to not only her but to all of the students. The director has filled my family with hope, satisfaction and has provided a safe environment for my daughter. My shy, quirky daughter has found a place to settle and a place where she is comfortable enough to be herself.

Love the school it has helped my son grow and become such a great young man. I am blessed to have such a wonderful place for him to learn. Staff is incredible! It is certainly dissheartening to see so many negative reviews from people who don't know any children that have attended this school. This school was a godsend for my nephew who struggled and was being left behind in the public school system. This school has given him his confidence back and it has been a complete transformation. I am so glad that my sister found this school for her son. Now he is finally reaching his potential and I am so thankful to the faculty and staff there. What was said by one member (who was fired), should not condemn the whole school.

I have seen my child flourish since he started at the Center Academy in Pinellas Park. They have repaired all The damage his former public school did. He loves this school and we love that our son has continued to grow both socially and academically. The teachers are totally engaged with each individual child's learning capabilities. This school has been a God send!
