We have been seeing Dr. Ann at Integrated Therapies for over six years. During that time she has been a trusted guiding light for our family. Our problem was extremely serious and Dr. Ann was able to stabilize the issue with her patience and knowledge. The whole staff is incredibly understanding and treat you like family. The quality of their care is second to none. Dr. Ann is the best therapist we have encountered on our unfortunate journey. Without her help, I don’t know what we would do. Thank you.

I like to say that choosing therapists is a lot like choosing shoes- some will fit but not what you need, while others fit the occasion but are too big or small. I’ve constantly been going to therapy for over ten years while trying to find a therapist who fit, and Dr. Ann has been the best fit for me out of all the different therapists I’ve seen, and I found her at what may have been the most difficult time in my life so far.

(I began seeing Dr. Ann in February after a series of life troubles, including losing a job I moved away from my family for, my father being diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and giving us multiple health scares, my own precancerous health scare, failure to find a job for months with constant rejected applications, and many more issues.)

For all these troubles, Dr. Ann would support me, give me the advice I needed and helped me to the best of her abilities. Every interaction was judgement free and she puts things into a perspective that relieves the judgement that I put on myself. She even helped me find some work doing tutoring. I can confidently say I’d be in a much worse place without Dr. Ann.

In the beginning, my wife had a positive experience of Dr. Ann Taylor at Center for Integrated Therapies. Ultimately, though, and while my wife was in crisis, Dr. Ann Taylor simply ghosted her and Dr. Curtis Schindeler defended her ghosting? My wife was specifically there for the therapeutic modalities advertised on their lovely website. But, to ghost a client who has chosen them for mental health support, neurofeedback, PTSD, trauma, etc? What does that say about their level of professionalism? I'm glad some others have had positive experience but there's no reason we are aware of that what happened to my wife couldn't happen to you.

FOLLOW-UP COMMENT
In response to the reply Dr Ann posted. I was going to let the review stand as it accurately describes what happened to my wife but like many faux explanation/apologies "I'm sorry she felt that way..." takes no responsibility. My wife actually called several times one specific day and only got the answering service but when immediately using my phone, she got through right away. The "explanation" given by Dr. Ann & "Center for Integrated Therapies" that her parent was dying and "referred my wife to other staff" is simply not true. No other staff reached out to support my wife. Nor is the excuse that an elderly parent dying is somehow a reasonable explanation for "ghosting" a client in need. It reeks of that "sorry you felt that way" faux apology". Also, Curtis called my wife (out of the blue) asking, not if she was OK but if my wife was OK with a accurate negative review in an attempt to make her feel bad. The review is accurate, period. During that time, no referrals to other staff were made. No support or care was provided after Ann ghosted my wife. Just a frustrated, defensive Curtis not taking responsibility. It' was remarkably unprofessional. You treated her poorly and then not at all. "I'm sorry for how we treated her, it was wrong" would have been the most honest, responsible response. Buyer be warned.

11 years ago, 19 year old me. With multiple S/A traumas, with mommy and daddy issues, with so much pain and no direction.
I’ve already gone through 10 therapist in a short few years. I was suicidal and giving up. Then I walked through the doors Of the center for integrated Therapies. Uncertain on what I would experience, I put Dr. Ann through a few tests. She didn’t flinch, she didn’t put me down. She didn’t judge. she was the first person in my life to see me for who I was underneath all my anger and truama, underneath all of these masks that I had to put up to survive, Dr. Ann went above and beyond for me in so many situations. Dr. Ann has fought for me for 11 years in ways no one else ever has. The first time I did DBT I didn’t take it seriously, but I still learned a lot. The second time I did it. I was 26 and with a newborn , that’s when I took DBT seriously and I put in all the work every single day.FINALLY, My BPD went away, now i own my own business at 30 years old. I’m not saying my life is perfect nor am I saying I’m perfect. I still have to work on myself every day, but if it wasn’t for her, I would either be dead or in prison. Now I am the me that she saw 11 years ago. Now the real me underneath, all of the pain is the only me that exists.
It’s not only Dr. Ann that’s amazing here every single doctor here are patient, kind, and more than able to help. When I say I’m not an easy person to deal with I mean it. However, every person in this building makes me feel welcome and has love in their heart for all. If you or your child are struggling and feel like there are no options. If you’re as lost as I was give this place a chance. The only regret you’ll have is not finding The center for integrated therapies sooner.

If you’re unsure about making an appointment, please read……
Last year I had a severe traumatic brain injury and without this office I don’t think I would be where I am. My neurologist was incredibly impressed with my progress and I owe it to neurofeedback and my amazing therapists, Curtis and Ann! They have been with me every step of the way. I leave the office feeling empowered, heard, understood, and always look forward to my next session. I have sat in plenty therapist’s chairs and have never felt the way I do in this office. I can tell they genuinely care about helping. I’ve seen major improvement in my memory, focus, clarity, mood, nightmares, headaches, anxiety, depression, and my favorite has been to regain my zest for life. Make the appointment. I don’t think you’ll regret it. Life changing.

After years of different therapies with no major breakthrough, I found Center for Integrated Therapies. This family of healers has helped me more than any one review can explain. Best docs in town!

Making me feel whole again! I am about a month and a half into my neurofeedback journey, and every day I am noticing changes in myself in areas that I’ve been ā€œstuckā€ in for quite a while. I’m so happy to have found this therapy and don’t have to rely solely on pharmaceuticals for what I’m dealing with. Every time I come for a session, it’s always a positive, uplifting experience šŸ™‚ all the people who make up the office here in Sarasota are amazingly helpful and kind. And they all know their stuff which makes me feel like I’m in good hands.
