Erin is simply unprofessional. One week I meet with her and she kept stating the entire session “if this isn’t the right fit I can give you referrals out” in a matter of 25 mins she started that about five times. Mind you I had just started seeing her and our first two sessions were great or so I thought. Just come to realize she really didn’t listen to what I had to say. The week after I get discharged for “being disrespectful”. I don’t understand where that’s coming from because I was not disrespectful. I told her the truth about how we talked at least three or four times that I would like therapy on a weekly basis. Not once did she ever mention that we would have to skip a week. So the same week she was making those statements in our session about how “this isn’t the right fit” she not once in that session mentioned to me that we wouldn’t be seeing each other the following week. In fact she stated “same time next week, see you then” and I followed by “see ya”. I’ve asked to talk to the supervisor but she is refusing to allow me to talk to her. I don’t care if I’m discharged from them. I would just personally like to hear it from the supervisor because Erin made an environment where I wasn’t listened to and she continuously contradicted her statements. So at this point I don’t trust her and would like to hear from someone above her. If you do go to change counseling, I suggest you don’t see Erin she will not listen to you, and she will contradict every statement she makes.
