My 19 year Old son came here from Iowa for opioid addiction. Insurance covered 80% of his stay. He was at this house for around 40 days. The staff here took very good care of him! He was able to keep his phone and use his nicotine Vape. Which gave him comfort during the miserable detox phase. It is a small house with few patients. The house is clean and comfortable. Went to visit and they allowed him time to spend with me. They helped him replace his Social Security card and many other things outside of their scope To get him back on track. They researched and took him to tour sober living houses after his rehab. They found the perfect fit for him at Monarch sober living in Ventura. He is over 60 days clean! He is still at monarch working “ the steps” and growing as a person . Some of the people from the house and his meetings are sky diving this week! Thank you to everyone at channel island rehab! Channel Islands rehab is absolutely outstanding. The beautiful, clean home I stayed in is about a 5 minute walk to the beach and is nestled right next to the harbor.

Starting from day one I was scheduled to meet with an MD and the staff also lined me up for meetings with a psychologist and therapist.

The friendly counselors are very knowledgeable and happily tend to your needs around the clock. Also, you will never have to worry about going hungry. This place has its very own talented chef and the cabinets are always overstocked with food and snacks.

Another plus is that yoga, paddle boarding, trips to the gym and other fun group outings are planned throughout the week.

Overall, Channel Islands Rehab would be an excellent choice for anyone looking to get back on track with a healthy, sober lifestyle. I can’t imagine spending such a difficult time in my life anywhere else.

I spent 30 days here and it was amazing. I've been to several rehabs this facility is my favorite by far. the staff is amazing and the therapist is one of a kind. the cooks food is fabulous as well. I would highly recommend channel islands rehab.

I came to Channel Islands Rehab after two years of failed attempts to get sober. Within a few days I was having substantial breakthroughs in the way I was handling my depression and anxiety. The counselors here all have personal experience with addiction and the peer groups we did everyday really changed the way I will approach life going forward. We attended several meetings, had a personal yoga instructor, and a great therapist. The owner even comes by and plays a part in the recovery of the clients. I highly recommend this place to anyone who feels hopeless in their addiction.

Channel Islands Rehab truly helped change my life. I had done extensive research on facilities in the Ventura/Oxnard area and came across CIR's website. I had already spoken with representatives over the phone from other local places and I was not impressed. I didn't feel that there was enough "heart" and "care" in the conversations I had. Within five minutes of me submitting a request for info on the website, Dan from CIR called. I knew within minutes of speaking with him and sharing my story that this was the place I needed to be. This place was going to change me.

The Director, Allison, greeted me at the door when I arrived. I immediately felt comfortable and all of the staff just reinforced that this was going to be "home" for me. Beth and Ali helped me with my intake and they were both absolutely amazing. ALL staff at CIR were amazing...Mar, Jason, Melissa, Phoenix, Miguel, everyone. They all went above and beyond to make sure that I received the counseling/therapy help that I needed, provided great resources and led thought-provoking group sessions.

The facility itself is a gem. It's a block away from the beach with amazing views of the Channel Islands Harbor. The location definitely helped play a big part of my happiness at CIR.

my experience at Channel Islands Rehab inpatient stay definitely a great recovery experience. they key you thru in regaining a better lifestyle routine mind body and soul. learning the 12 step NA program 30 day program, and physical activities that helped your inner health healer. the staff was amazing and definitely gonna be missed and our delicious home cooked meals as well.
