Chenal Family Therapy

Well my daughter goes to this clinic and woke up sick this morning running a fever. When I called the number listed in the text message sent out with the appointment reminder they said they would leave a message with the office and this was around 7:45. I waited over an hour for a call back so finally around 9:30 I called the office number, waited 10 minutes for someone to answer and when I explained the situation they said they would then charge me $100 to cancel the appointment due to short notice since her appointment was today. I can’t believe how money hungry a clinic who praises themselves to help people with their problems. And what’s worse is there has been no communication from the therapist to me about my daughters progress or what I need to work on at home with her. This is definitely the last straw and I will not be going back. Despicable. If I could give no stars I would.

I have been seeing someone at this clinic since 2018. I started with one therapist after I retired, although I had other insurance, Medicare became my primary and she wasn’t one of the therapists who took Medicare. Shortly after she left the practice. . I had to be self pay, so I was assigned to an intern. Once she became certified I had to leave her. I finally got with my third therapist and we clicked! She was tremendous help to me. Then I get a call that she is no longer with the practice. I was left at a very critical time, dealing with mess of issues. Haven’t tried to find another one yet, as I think I’m somewhat traumatized. Not sure why these clinicians up and left, but can’t help but wonder.

I'm don't want to step on ANYBODYS toes (here it comes) the proverbial but...but I've had to pay and after I came to the realization it was my fault still was not happy after a few choice words I thought they're people too they've got a mortgage they put gas in their cars just like you and I do and they've got families that rely on them too so Im never going to pay another fine?because unless I cancel when Im supposed to(and I totally know every sitch is different) "but" I'm gonna be there!? I have totally realized that I have 2 pretty amazing docs taking care of me poor Dr.Flanigan has been dealing with me? for I think over 8 years he's pretty much bent over backwards to make sure my stuff is right and if it isn't they really try and make it asap He's definitely one of the good ones "but"he's got some pretty great help Ms.Teresa....I'm 56 years old and I've dealt with many Drs.&Rns and without a doubt Ms.Teresa is one of the nicest ladies I have ever met over the phone she is definitely on it she gets it done asap Thank you Ms.Teresa? Sorry for my novel.....Dr.Flanigan also set me up with my therapist Wade he's awesome he lets me ramble on I can tell him anything and I know it's safe you see I lost my husband recently we'll...he was my whole world literally and then he's gone my heart is broken sooo...their are so many things I wanna say about Wade he listens to me ramble and he is soooo patient with me there is so much more "but"again I've had a few therapists but not like this one he's saved my life not literally but I know he's slowly bringing me back from a very dark place I don't want to be in. Thank you soo much!!! They will never know just how much they truly mean to me.....a lot.? Well if this is to long and it ends up in some circular filing system Maybe an ice party I think they're all keepers?

I love my therapist Elizabeth, when I get to actually see her. but lately she has had personal issues come up one after another, that have caused to me to have to reschedule over and over, which is getting old. They also said I was on a probationary period, which I've never heard of, but they got it straightened out. But I still never received welcome email to schedule online, plus i'm on hold long periods of time, once for over ten minutes just to tell me my therapist was going to be out. they need more than one employee working scheduling and billing, unprofessional.

I have seen a few different providers here and always felt very supported. The support team has always been helpful and responsive to my calls and emails. I recommend going here as long as you are okay with their cancellation policy. It would be nice if there was someone at the front desk, would feel more welcoming. However I understand with their long hours open that would probably be difficult.

My 22 year old has never stepped foot in here. She called repeatedly to cancel appointment but no one ever picked up. She didn’t leave a message because when she attempted to leave a message to make an appointment no one ever called her back. Finally someone answers and informed it will be a $300 cancellation fee because she’s canceling 46 hours in advance instead of 48. Go read Arkansas Business Insider.

Felt unwelcomed just through an email exchange they kept on pushing for my bank details. Super shady. It felt so cold and unwelcoming I decided not to book my first appointment after all.

I’m seeing Dr. Haselow there and I really like her. BUT, this is the coldest, most uncaring health facility I have ever been to, and in my 76 years I have been to a lot of clinics. They act like their patients are the enemy. And don’t expect to have emails or phone messages return promptly or even in a reasonable time. I’m switching clinics, I just can’t stand any more of this place.
