My son attended ChildTime for only a short period of time in 2022. He was 3 years old at the time. The first red flag was my son coming home with poop smudged in his underwear. My son is fully potty trained and we were told that the staff helps wipe young children. I notified the school and they apologized and assured it wouldn’t happen again. Not even a couple days later my son got home AGAIN with poop smudged in his underwear. I notified the school again and all they did was make excuses. Red flag #2 was my son coming home with bite marks on his arm and a bruise on his ear. All it took for me was those 3 instances for me to pull my son out. This facility is not trustworthy and I should have went with my momma bear instincts and never sent him there. Especially young children who can’t fully communicate yet.

"They require a $165 non-refundable fee with no guarantee of care, which feels more like a profit-driven move than a genuine effort to help. It’s frustrating that they allow unborn babies to occupy spots on the waiting list, making it clear they’re not interested in working with you but are more focused on operating like a corporation. Super poor service went to the facility to speak about care and they left us outside without acknowledging that we were there.

This facility was a danger to my child. My infant was fed the wrong breastmilk. The director told me she was just glad it was "just" breastmilk because she'd be worried if it was formula because of the allergies. Had to get my infant tested to make sure he wasn't exposed to pathogens. Additionally, I witnessed a staff member forcing 2 older toddlers to sleep on their nap mat by pushing them into the mat by the back of their heads. The director assured me that her staff would never do that. And would only check the video recording "if I was sure that's what I wanted". Sure enough I was correct. I later learned that the incident was not properly reported. I don't even know if the other parents were told. When they were finally investigated. I was told that the staff was cagey and not cooperative or forthcoming.

My son has been attending childtime on Floyd Ave since he was 6 months old he is now 6 years old (6 years of great memories). The staff at this location are AWESOME!! My son doesn’t see them as just teachers at his daycare but as part of his family… his Childtime family. As a parent we want to make sure our children are in a safe environment, that’s why he’s stayed there for so long. It didn’t matter which room he was in I always felt safe leaving him there. The best part of it all has been the amount of things they learn. By the time kindergarten came around he was ready! They really do prep them for that transition into school. One of my favorite memories has to be the graduation they had for the kids who were going into Kindergarten. The speech from Sonja the Director and all the work the staff put into it really showed the amount of love they have for our kids. An added bonus is they drop off and pick up from school!! My son LOVES to ride the Childtime bus and its one less thing I have to worry about!
It has been a great experience watching my son grow with Childtime. And I will forever be thankful to the Childtime family for caring for my son the way they do.

Childtime gave my little family a place to call home. Not only have the teachers, and staff members been professional and pleasant, they are real- down-to-earth people who take caring for my son seriously, and aim to create a real sense of family with their community. They are reliable, the facility is clean and inviting, and our children are safe, above and beyond. They work with the school-agers to upkeep their homework, and provide adequate learning for each age group that is both stimulating for the children, and gives them a sense of ownership with their learning. First of all... amazing. I would recommend this child care center 10 times over. My son has been attending for over a year and I couldn't be more pleased with what he has accomplished. Sonja the school director is fantastic and has an amazing team under her. The whole feel of rhe facility is more than just a daycare or preschool. It is more of a family. The teachers are amazing as well. I thank each and every one of you. If you need child care... definitely this center!!

Childtime on Floyd is amazing. I honestly can't thank them enough for everything they have done in last several years for my family. They're reliable, have flexible schedules, and a wonderfully caring staff. My children, husband, and I would be lost without them!
