Brenda at Chrysalis Counseling Center is wonderful! After many years of going to different counselors for my mental health needs, I've finally started making real progress in my healing journey thanks to Brenda and her sense of compassion, understanding, and use of up to date therapy techniques. It's rare to find a counselor that treats you like a whole human being and not just a client, but Brenda makes you feel welcome, safe, and heard from day one. No reviews? What's wrong with y'all? Anyhow, Brenda Rockwell is a very busy therapist, which alone should say it all. Get in if you can, and if for some reason you have to wait, then the wait is worth it. She's very personable and knowledgeable and I believe can succesfully work with any type of client. I tried 5-6 years to get into EMDR and it's been a difficult road but she's made it worth it. Like I said, she's busy, but during a session there's no way to tell that because she does the job and keeps the focus where it needs to be.
