For Socializing with those who go there, it is Very Nice. Washrooms are clean. The whole place is nice, and clean. A monthly menu is available for those who would like to participate in their Monday to Friday lunch. One has to place one's name on a list at least three days prior, if you want to have their lunch. Their Menu indicate lunch is served from 12:00pm to 1:00pm. Well, so it says, but if you get there at 12:20pm you lost your lunch to someone else. Mind boggling since you have to place your name on a list three days prior. Regardless, you lose your lunch, if you are Not there at 12:00pm. Their should read "Lunch is served at 12:00pm Only. If you are not here at 12:00pm you forfeit your lunch". Have tried to become a member, to no avail. Have tried asking for transportation. They do not get back to you. The place is pretty and clean. They have a movie/TV room, but there are signs indicating you cannot eat, or drink there, nor in the nice playroom they have, nor anywhere else. Only at lunchroom. They provide coffee, tea, and other drinks. They also provide cereal, bread, and fruit. They have a calendar that depicts the host of activities you can enjoy. You get prizes with Bingo. There is a craftroom, and a library too. There is a very nice lady called Barbara Jimenez that will help you with lunch. The Seniors that assist this center are some of the nicest people you will ever meet.

By chance, I had the opportunity to go into the Keystone Heights Senior Center around, April 2024. The Manager at this center gave me a transportation application, and told me that Green Cove Springs would be best for me. I took application, filled it, and e-mail it. Mind you, they do not let you know when you can start using JTA. I called JTA, and they said I can start using them, but had to give three full days in advance. I did, and returned to Green Cove Springs Senior Center. Had not been there for a while.

I was taken aback by the changes that had transpired. ALL positive. Now you are able to eat while viewing a movie. If you have leftovers, you are able to take home with you. You might even have seconds. They provide breakfast too. I am soooo happy for the changes. It has helped a lot of members.

New Supervisor Ms Bennett, New Receptionist Ms Grace, and the Beautiful Mrs Jimenez, are wonderful to talk to. They will help you with your needs. Mind you do not use their vending machines, you will lose your money.

You will Love it here! Come visit, and share some time with some of the most Beautiful people in Green Cove Springs. 💚

Unclean. Stinch in the hallway. Smelt like vomit. Staff was unfriendly and uninviting. I wouldn't want my elderly parent going there.
