Well, after a week of waiting for Stephanie, the owner of Coachella Valley Lighthouse, to call me to have a formal meeting and talk about what happened and why they kicked me out of the program, I never got a call from her, other than from Carolina Saldaña, and that was because Tristha sent her to tell me what she couldn't tell me. I think it's more professional on her part to call the father into the office and talk about the case. And the problem that happened or the defamation they made against me. Jasmine, a therapist at Coachella Valley Lighthouse, told them that I had told her that the day I couldn't do therapy because I had an appointment at the dentist that she would sign as if she did and that I was going to agree. When I never said anything because I was going to say something like that when it comes to my son with autism, that's stupid. Without calling me into the office, without hearing from my mouth what I had to say, they terminated the services. and that is unfair, then that means that they only care about what the insurance pays them and they do not care about their children, they do not know the damage they did to my son, now I understand why they have such a bad rating in the reviews. when I called Carolina that I had to cancel because I had a meeting at my children's school or an outing and I always did it 24 hours before, Carolina even told me between us I will say that she is sick so that it does not count against her and that is fraud because I spoke the truth and she said what she wanted in the office but I was accused of committing fraud when I never ever and I say this with the condition of my son being present I never said that to Jasmine. when jasmine finished therapy i told her tomorrow you're not coming to give my son therapy i have to go to the dentist in mexicali i already told carolina 2 days ago and she got upset because carolina never said anything to her and she told me that she always did the same thing to her she canceled at the last minute so stephanie i think there are a lot of irregularities in your company that are not right and we end up paying those of us who have nothing to do with it i don't know what happened in the office i don't know what that therapist did but she got me into her fraud that she was thinking of doing and it's not fair and yes tristha i had 10 cancellations in the month of may because my son got sick and that's not my fault i don't predict my son's illnesses now i see that they don't know what it is to have a child with autism or some condition

I had my child with CVL for nearly a year doing a combination of in home and in office sessions. They decided to change our sessions for my THREE year old to be zoom sessions instead of in clinic or in home. I protested and we went around for a bit until I decided to pull my child out. In the time I was with them they had a lot of turn over and we went through at least 4 therapist. Finally, a few months after leaving the company they sent me a bill for over $1000. The reason was that I didn’t have something completed for them to send off which was not true. After 3 calls to different insurance departments and 2 hours later my insurance company let me know that it was in fact their fault that the paperwork was not completed and that the insurance had reached out to them several times with letters to me (which i forwarded to them via telephone messages to the owner whom we never met) and to the company as well. Finally my insurance agreed to pay the claims if they got paper work in on time so that was nice for me but if not they would have tried to require me to pay for something that was not my fault.
Jesse who was one of our therapists was very consistent and on top of his stuff and we really loved having him in our home. I do not recommend this company to anyone with children needing intense therapy.

My experiences with CVL have been amazing. My child was diagnosed at age 7. At an autism event, I met some of the staff and I have been with them now for 7 years. The changes that my child made were so significant. They have been the most supportive and knowledgeable organization that I have ever worked with. My son is able to communicate more effectively and that has built up his own personal self esteem. There have been several professionals that through the years have pointed out what my child would never be able to do. With CVL he has met all of those targets. I am truly grateful for the BCBA and director who have changed me for the better. They are the best in the valley and I highly recommend!

If you read the reviews, you will notice there are at least 5 that were all given at the same time, this is most likely due to clients parents & employees pressured to give a good review. I wouldn’t really rely on these. The company at first did my family and I good with my child, but that only lasted maybe 2 weeks. The owner of the company Stephanie Rosales is extremely rude and obnoxious, for whatever reason she believes her time is more important than any of her parents. She throws all the dirty work on her therapists and her supervisors. The parent trainings are very extensive and non informative. They make you feel like your questions are dumb. Also, they do not care about your schedule if you have to cancel they try to guilt trip you. The company according to several therapist is just overall of terrible and they pay is so low for them considering the work they do. Many complain about how little these people care about their clients but also their staff. ABA is better elsewhere don’t waste your time at this company. Easy Speech, Kyo, HCA and even Desert Arc is better than this company.

No no one has called and left a voicemail on the mother’s phone.
The receptionist also had my number (grandmother) and I haven’t received a call either.

Left messages, called several times. Finally after calling for a few days a gal answered. I explained situation and child’s behavior. Family is in crisis. Child is out of control eloping. Young lady said she’d discuss with her supervisor and call back tomorrow. NEVER CALLED BSCK RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL TO LEAVE A FAMILY WHOS IN CRISIS AND SEEKING HELP IN HOW TO HELP THEIR CHILD HANGING WITH NO CALL BACK. NOT EVEN TO SAY SORRY WE ARE BOOKED BUT HERE ARE SOME RESOURCES. OR WE HAVE YOU ON WAITLIST AND IN THE MEANTIME HERE ARE SOME RESOURCES!!! To not CALL BACK IS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!! Disappointing for a place that’s supposed to be helping children and families.

Stephanie and her team have been absolutely great! Their services helped my student go from struggling to pass some of her classes to being an honor roll student by the end of the year and straight As the next.
