I was a patient at coastal rehab. The occupational rehabilitation staff, is absolutely phenomenal! My nurse Sasha, is one of the most outstanding, efficient, caring and goes beyond limitations of her job. I have never met a nurse with such commitment and passion for her patients. I can assure you this because I've been dealing with a neurological condition most of my life. I also have to express that, I have talked to many of the staff and they want people to tell them if there are any problems. I believe that they will become a five-star very soon. PS. I submitted some photos. I arrived from the hospital and I could barely stand. These photos could show how phenomenal the rehabilitation unit is

Recently my family was looking for a respite care facility that could accommodate my grandmother short term during our upcoming business trip overseas. This facility seemed extremely welcoming begining with the very well kept grounds and bright Christmas themed landscaping to the welcoming and helpful staff. While my parents ultimately were unable to travel letting grandmother be with all of us throughout the holiday season we would definitely consider Coastal Health in the future if the need arises.

When I first entered, they were very nice when I seen my mother. She was cleaned up and very presentable. Looks like to me. She’s taken care of. I have coordinated with activity center that do groups. I am going to read the Bible for an hour and play some music, I’m going to try to do it once a week everyone there was very nice and upstanding. Good job coastal thank you very much.

So far, my opinion of this SNF is not a great one. No one ever answers the phone and when they do they are yelling in your ear at someone else or they transfer your call to INACTIVE extensions. It would be extremely helpful to have a help line where you can ask questions and get information without feeling like you are a being a burden for checking on your loved ones. I have never been more disappointed in my life. I can’t imagine how they treat the actual residents there. I surely hope it’s better than they treat the family members!!! 😡

DON'T take or let your family go there. Its NASTY ,nurses ,administration don't care. Spoke to administration about problems there and the only thing we got was promises. Rooms dirty, cockroach in the rooms, never changed the bedding. Food was disgusting. We can go on and on . But DON'T TAKE YOUR FAMILY THERE. EVERYONE ESPECIALLY NURSES AND CASE MGT NEEDS TO BE FIRED. The website is pictures are not true. Building is falling apart. This place is a joke !

No one answers the calls after a certain time and if you leave a VM, they don't return it. Mother calls out for help to change her adult pants and they say "someone will be there" but they don't. They just sit there. (Been watching them do this.) No remote for TV. Have told them to cut up her meat on trays because she can't and they still don't do that.
