Life can hold many trials and difficulties that God allows in order to see His faithfulness and lead you into truly being joyful. I have found that working with Heather has helped me to stay Biblically focused while I grow through the hard circumstances. God doesn’t promise an easy road on this side of heaven, so when l landed in a place where I could not feel joy or see the hope that I knew I should, I reached out to the counseling center. Heather has helped me to have a safe place to share my heartache, help me learn new skills both cognitively and emotionally as well as have a prayer partner. I highly recommend the counseling center. Therapy should be viewed with the lens of a tool God provides in the challenging moments! This is the right place if you are seeking a knowledgeable, respectful, confidential, and Godly therapist.

As someone with a background in social work, who has been through personal counseling over the last several years, I cannot recommend Community Christian Counseling Center (CCCC) highly enough. As a Christian, it was important to find a counselor who not only would understand and acknowledge the important role faith has in all aspects of life, but also had the professional experience and credentials to employ evidence-based practices and strategies in helping me. Heather is that counselor. Heather Tate-Boldt is professional, knowledgeable, compassionate, and insightful. In the midst of personal challenges and changes over the last few years, I am extremely thankful for the genuine care and support that I’ve received in working with Heather. Working with her has helped me identify and change negative and destructive throughts and behavior patterns. Admittedly, I still have work to do, but I also know that working with Heather has given me the tools that I need to develop healthy boundaries and relationships.

Dr. Lewis and her team are incredible. I contacted several different psychiatrists offices and the only one that seemed to care enough to get an appointment set up for me were the lovely people at Community Christian Counseling. Not only that, but they got me in very, very fast.

Dr. Lewis was incredible. She's incredibly thorough and kind. She's the first mental health professional to ever make me feel heard and validated. When she asked questions and I went into long explanations it didn't feel like she was just trying to rush me through them, it actually felt like she was listening to every minute word and that meant the world to me. I have never felt so validated in my life and by the time I left she had me beaming with renewed hope. I'm truly grateful her practice exists.

Don't let the fact that she runs her practice out of the church deter you. In all honesty, as someone who isn't very religious I was nervous at first too, but it was actually extremely comfortable. The people who worked for the church itself were also very warm, inviting, and friendly - so don't be afraid. I've seen a psychiatrist in a clinical setting previously as well, but I was nowhere near as comfortable as I was here. The atmosphere was warm and inviting and honestly that really helped calm my nerves.

My family has been involved with the CCCC for many years for various different therapy needs from marriage to adolescent to divorce and individual. We have always been treated with kindness and respect, confidentiality and have received much help both secular and Christ centered. I would highly recommend the CCCC for any counseling needs.
