. CHC SYSTEM HAS FLAWS
Prior and Post surgeries, I had a great momentum in my health. First with CECE and then Dr Cooke. I was being rehab but the ball was dropped by PT and then Dr Cooke was transferred to Atascadero. In addition I have several scheduled appointments that were canceled due to your system. One needed a Rx refill so then we have to figure the next step…
Today is the first time I have seen him in over a year. Instead I have to drive all over to Immediate Care Cent.
TAKE NOTE I live in Cambria directly across the street from CHC. Since I can no longer see CECE Lomelie or Dr Cooke, at my home location, I now have to drive to Atascadero or track down the open immediate care CHC.
MANY of my “scheduled in advance” appointments have been canceled only to be rescheduled many months out. I have to chase down a doctor when I live directly across the street. You need more help up here from San Simeon Cambria Cayucos Harmony

CECE and Dr Cooke have changed my life. The staff at every single office I visited was fantastic. I just wish you could bring back Dr Cooke. Currently, Im not doing well, I got really sick and seeing PA Lisa in AG.The staff and PA Lisa and PA Natalie in Temp. were very helpful and expedited my needs until I was able to see Dr Cook.
I have only had best of results feom Dr Cooke but I have been seeking a new provider closer to home.

Natalie is wonderful! I'm so happy to have her as one of my healthcare providers. She's always kind and compassionate listens to me and she even called me 3 days after my visit to see how I was doing. She does a very nice, thorough job. Thank you, Natalie

He was rude! He was my primary doctor for awhile and I had so many problems with him filling my blood pressure medication. I had to have a phone visit with him as my doctor wasn’t in the office. I definitely don’t like dealing with him. He was rude and unprofessional. I still have yet to get my medication for my blood pressure even though he said he sent it in. I’m definitely never dealing with him ever again. Dr. Cooke was very the doctor.

Dr. Cooke and his staff were very thorough and personable. Dr. Cooke explained everything in great detail and showed that he cared. He has a superb bedside manner. We are so happy that we switched to his care.

I arrived a few minutes early for my appointment and checked in at the front desk. Despite sitting in plain sight in the waiting area, I was left waiting for 50 minutes before being called back—only to be told they were unaware I had even arrived. This, despite having clearly checked in and remained in front of the staff the entire time.

While the doctor was satisfactory, the conduct of the front desk staff was unacceptable. Rather than monitoring appointments or checking in on patients, they appeared more focused on casual conversations—at one point discussing taking pictures with their new water bottles—than on performing their duties. At no point did anyone check on my status or question the delay. I had to approach them myself to ask how much longer I would be waiting before any action was taken.

The lack of attention, urgency, and basic courtesy from the front desk staff was extremely disappointing and unprofessional.
