I was connected to Cornerstone Counseling through the VA. I was having some issues with my personal life. My 1st session was April 6,2022 with Brittney Morales and we set some mini-goals to work on. She created a work sheet to show my progress with these goals. We started meeting 2 time a week (via Zoom) on my schedule which was very helpful. As the sessions progressed and with her help I was able to overcome these mini-goals one at a time. My anxiety level dropped tremendously. Brittney also introduced me to meditation which has also helped me so much. Through her help I have been able to basically put those issues "to sleep" We now meet 1 time a week until further notice. I am so grateful for Brittney's expertise and knowledge. I would recommend Cornerstone to anyone with issues in their life.

Edit (12/3/21): Mike (the office manager) reached out to me and was very concerned about the way the issues with the phones. He approached me without any confrontation and with complete sincerity about my previous review. He is currently working to resolve this issue. I've updated my review to 5 stars.

The nurses, doctors and therapist here have been absolutely wonderful to me since I've been coming here. Dr. Ettensohn, Jess, Nadine, and Dr. Jamie are all amazing people and show great compassion towards me and my issues. They all listen to my needs with great interest and I find comfort in being around them. During ketamine treatments, my comfort and privacy are top priority. My time spent in therapy with Dr. Jamie feels very constructive and motivating.

I would recommend Cornerstone to anybody seeking ketamine treatment or talk therapy.

I’ve been seeing Dr.Flangan since 2019 when he was at the other office in west palm beach. I had none of the issues I’m about to discuss in this review before he came here. First off they are very unorganized I had insurance with my old job and that ended after July NOW I saw my doctor in July so that appointment should have been taken care of well NOPE they waited around and processed the claim I’m assuming after July and since I no longer work there I no longer have that insurance so I became self pay until getting new insurance with my new job. It was my first time in person at this office I met some big white guy at the front desk another old white male came in and although there was another couch he asked me could I give up my seat to the guy I felt like Rosa parks because for one why on earth would I give up my seat when there are plenty open that was the second straw. The 3rd I came all the way from Cutler Bay to north lake to see my therapist and although they called so much begging for a payment they should’ve been handled they failed to tell me I couldn’t be seen until that payment had been made. Not only was this an inconvenience because I came way from Homestead it was also unprofessional the other office wouldn’t have ever done anything like this thank goodness Dr.Flangan called me and I was still able to get my prescriptions. Now what’s going on because I haven’t returned to this crazy office they’re holding my medication until I make another appointment for one you can’t do that to a patient if I’m not able to get my prescription that’s been approved I will definitely be reporting this office to the BBB. I hate that I still have to deal with them because Flangan is with them and I would hate to have to find someone else and start all over but if the big white guy isn’t removed from the front desk a lot of clients may have to find else where to receive their therapy.
