I've seen Mark Jacob for years (back when he as at APS and IBH). He has been wonderful with me. No judgement even though I did some stupid stuff. He has helped me with a lot! I am comfortable talking about anything with him. He has helped me tremendously.

I saw Ronda Johnson here briefly when I was going through some big life transitions, and she helped me so much before I moved. I have a long list of things that I work on. Anxiety, cptsd from childhood trauma, depression, adhd, etc.. and I never once felt like I was too much or even judged. I was never made to feel like my feelings were silly which was a big deal to me after some negative experiences with therapists at other practices. I would absolutely still be seeing her if I still lived in the same state. She helped me process so much in the time that I spent seeing her. I felt seen and heard during every appointment, and I am still using the tools that she taught me to use during our time together. 100% would recommend her!

Ronda Johnson is very professional and empathetic. She truly has a gift. My son was so nervous about going but after he seen how his 1st session went he was 100% comfortable talking to her. She’s definitely been a God send and we are Thankful for her. My son loves her.

Covenant Counseling of Decatur is a great practice. The counseling staff genuinely cares deeply for their patients. I have recommended several people who have also really enjoyed it. If you are considering counseling, this is a great place.

I came here at one of the lowest, if not THE lowest, point in my life up to now. Right away I’m put off because when I ask how it will be coded, the lady I asked was very curt in her response. Then, the counselor we saw jokes and makes light of what I have to discuss along with what I felt was patronizing. I’ve since met with another counselor somewhere else and had a leaps and bounds better experience than I did here. Edit: The response says that this isn’t a typical experience. So the other counselors actually care and don’t gloss over what you have to say like this guy did? How can you make anything right? This is the kind of place that will make someone dislike Christians. I stand by what I say.

God puts his fingerprints on people and gives us gifts, talents, and abilities to do HIS work. Very thankful for this group of people who have answered HIS call and make themselves available. These services will help you identify blindspots in life and equip you with resources to continue your journey more closely aligned with HIS plans. Highly recommend reaching out to this group for any special community events where the intent is to foster love of community, family, and self.

My son looks forward to meeting with Christy and I have seen positive changes in his behavior. So thankful to have found great counseling services here in Decatur.
