The work Dana has done with me has been nothing short of life changing. Her approach to the situations I was facing was incredibly flexible and dynamic and we saw results very quickly. After we dealt with my original reason for visiting we moved on to other things that I really hadn't thought were possible to change, but we did. Two years of continuous work with her has completely transformed my life and relationship with myself.

I began my therapy relationship with Dana when I was a freshman in college at the age of 18. I am now 30 years old and have maintained regular sessions ever since. Dana helped me manage my homesickness and anxiety while being away at school, we did Skype sessions while I was studying abroad for a semester, she supported me through my transition to life after college and the journey of my professional experiences so far, she guided me through my resistance to relocating for work, through romantic relationships, family relationships, friend relationships, and the forever-existent “being in my own head”.

The greatest issues my friends have in their own therapy experiences relate to scheduling and cost. Dana is incredibly flexible in working around my unpredictable schedule and has been understanding as I have lived in different time zones and has varying routines. She is also the most accommodating in terms of insurance and payment, and has made it possible for me to afford the luxury and necessity of therapy with no disruption. I haven’t encountered a single person besides myself who is relieved of these logistical pressures involved with therapy.

Dana’s style of therapy is very comfortable and natural. She doesn’t sit across from you intensely taking notes while you talk. She listens and responds in a way that both supports and challenges you. She passes no judgment and allows you to share freely, and gain the greatest benefit from the dialogue. She is gentle but firm, and has changed my life. Whenever I am faced with an emotion or situation that is overwhelming, I always know I will get through it, and come out stronger, because I can rely on Dana to guide me through. Dana has also provided me with tools for life that I can engage on my own when needed.

I am proud to call Dana my therapist and owe her tremendously for my mental health and happiness.
