Dandelion Behavioral Health is a one stop shop for mental health. The staff are knowledgeable, caring, and truly prioritize their clients. In addition, the owner, Tamara, makes sure to hire staff that align with the organizations values. I highly recommend Dandelion!

Their website offered a "free consultation" - no time limit stated for the length of the consultation (note I say offered, because since I have called them out on this, they have updated their website to say a "free 15 minute consultation". My daughter and I met with the therapist at the consultation (which I assumed was free, per the website) who said she would have a treatment plan READY at the next week's appointment. My daughter went to that appointment and there was no plan or therapy, only that the treatment plan would be ready for the NEXT appointment. The therapist canceled that next appointment and, by that time, my daughter knew this was not the fit for her. Dandelion is insisting that consultations were only 15 minutes, yet this was never stated on the website nor said to me in any phone conversation. And it's interesting that, if their argument is the first appointment wasn't a free consultation but rather an intake (for which they billed my insurance), why it would take the 3rd appointment to actually have a treatment plan in place? Personally, I would find another therapist group if I were you.

Having known Tamara for several years now in the mental health field I can tell you she is one of the most dedicated and hard working therapists I've ever had the good fortune of working with. Her compassion and dedication to kids in need goes above and beyond. Tamara treats each kid she comes across with dignity and respect but she has also has the ability to relate to the kids in a fun and caring manor.
