I have been a patient at Dedicated Senior Medical Center for several years and, for the most part, have been satisfied. My doctor, Dr. Marrero, is wonderful. She is patient, spends the time I need with me, reviews my records at every visit, etc. Although there are times that I have to wait, I don't mind because I know I won't be rushed when I do see the doctor.
However, there is one area that is extremely lacking in efficiency. That is with referrals. Every time I need a referral there is a problem. The last time the office person I spoke to said that it was the doctors fault because she wasn't responding to emails. This time when the office person again tried to blame the doctor I told her that I didn't think this was very professional. She then said that I should be aware that referrals take FOUR WEEKS to be processed. For this last appointment (which was scheduled for Dec. 18, 2024) I was contacted by the specialist office that the referral wasn't received on Dec. 16th. The specialist had requested the referral twice. I called Dedicated, went through the same problem as previous 3 times, and was assured that someone would be back to me before end of day. That did not happen. I called early on Dec. 17th and was advised that the matter was still being looked into. I explained that if I didn't cancel the appointment (scheduled at 11:15 am on Dec. 18th) with a 24 hour notice I would be charged $75. Also, I was out of a medication that I needed. Again, I was assured I would get a response. I told the person at Dedicated that I needed an answer by 11 am today so that if I had to cancel I wouldn't be charged. At 11 am I spoke to the specialist office and cancelled the appointment. Since they don't have a referral I could not reschedule. It is now well past 12:30 pm and I haven't heard from anyone at Dedicated.
So, if you have insurance that requires referrals, you may NOT want this practice to be your primary physician.

Dedicated senior is an extraordinary care facility I love everything they do there service is above and beyond and you do get the feeling the Drs go the extra mile of caring I would not trade the medical facility with another

First I say to Dr. M. Thank you for being a healer and taking the time to Listen. I am and old black man who never had a Doctor. Just always depended on old remedies and home portion, because I did not trust doctors . Because of Doctor M. And Dedicated medical guiding and listening to me and my medical issues I can walk without a wheel chair. My life is worth living I have have 80% less pain. I can live with that. If you need Doctors who listens and someone you can TRUST choose Dedicated for longer LIFE. Donald B.

Dr Marrero is easy to talk to about anything. She is a confidence builder and always displays a caring attitude. Also, the staff at Dedicated are easy to deal with, friendly and knowledgeable.

Currently having management problems that are greatly interfering with services I have been going here for over 5 years. The staff and Doctors are great but problems with referrals, appointments, and not enough staff are making me consider finding a different location.

The professional and friendly staff. I was amazed at my visit with how hard the staff up front were working. I don't know if people were at lunch or had called in but there were only 2 young women up front. It was as busy as I've ever seen it. It was not an issue. When a patient approached the counter they dropped what they were doing greeted them with a smile and took care of them. On leaving there were a few more and I'd never noticed how happy they were at work. Quietly having little conversations. I could tell they all liked each other. It doesn't sound like much but I've worked in a number of offices and this is rare. As for my care, it was great as usual. The nurse checking my vitals asked a lot of questions to make sure the Dr was prepared. Dr Allen was great as usual. Asked about my progress and talking with me about my concerns and took action when appropriate. I wanted to get a ride to the pharmacy and then home afterwards, which doesn't happen often I guess. The woman helping me worked through it with me. I didn't get a notification for pickup so I went back inside. The women were all taking care of someone and Carlos The manager came over to me to see if he could help. He said Paul, what's going on. The manager of this very busy clinic knows my name? He went back to his office to make a call. I can't think of one negative thing about my level of care and kindness I receive at Dedicated

They are very nice to me and courteous and mindful. Fun to be with, Fun to be with, Fun to be with, Fun to be with Fun to be with, Fun to be with. I never feel intimidated. Here I get the care I expect. The Doctor, Dr Marrero, is very thorough and explains everything I need and there are other activities there for the Patients such get togethers, exercise days and more to make you feel like a somebody, not like other locations you're just a number. These guys show Great Attitude - Feelings of Empathy, courtesy, Pleasant feeling, No Down grading. everyone is treated as any human being and ∴ should be, as a member of the HUMAN RACE, not just a number .🏆 ❤️‍🩹 💯% 𝜑 😎

I had two appointments, and they canceled them because they have a meeting. Today, I am waiting today they are at a meeting again. the phone people just sitting talking to each other.
Poor service and management skills. I'm still waiting for half an hour , but they are still at a meeting. I must say the doctors are very good. So it's the management I believe needs to improve. 3 stars for the doctors decent service and bedside manners. Again, the doctors are fine management organization is the issue.
