Do not trust this company!!! My son went two times and the charged me $1400! And are threatening collections on my account. We were told he would have individual sessions and that was not the case. He was thrown into a group setting that had NOTHING to do with his situation. Director told me we were good with waiving deposit of $300, and wished us the best. Then the bills came.

I had thoughts of suicide and was highly distressed. I contacted DMAP and had the most unpleasant experience with its staff. The staff affiliated with DMAP lied to me and did not care to provide optimal service. I was disheartened by the experience I had with DMAP staff. I suggest avoiding DMAP at all costs.

I never leave reviews, but I must say, I highly recommend Discovery for both adults & adolescents seeking mental health treatment. Staff was extremely welcoming & supportive to my journey with psychiatric treatment, and I laud the therapists for being so attentive when it came to my teaching them about certain mental illness symptoms which were not specific to the program's modals of therapy; they were willing to accommodate anyone to the fullest extent! DMAP is an incredibly lively & non-judgemental environment that makes you enjoy going to treatment every day; a warm environment which I had yet to see in most of my previous treatment programs. I also strongly encourage those struggling with OCD to seek treatment here, as well, as they are fully prepared to make treatment appropriate & individualized for anyone, no matter what they may be struggling with. Kudos & a big thank you to all the staff that helped me during my time here<3

I'm currently in this program right now, and holy heck it's helped so much! I've had a bad experiences with Discovery, i was in the residential in Dade city, and in the php in Tampa, and they were not the best- to put it lightly. I came in here with low expectations, and this place exceeded them all! I recommend DMAP Maitland to anyone, this place is the BEST.

DMAP has absolutely changed my life around, my time here was in the teen program, and throughout treatment I have now become 85 days clean. The entire staff, clinical and not, are all active in everyone's recovery journey , they put in great care and time to make sure you feel heard, and cover not only your emotional state, but even help with work, I've been helped with school work, and even helped figuring out how to apply to colleges. They constantly challenge negative mindsets, while still making sure when you leave the facility your are in a stable mindset to go home. The environment is unbelievably safe and promotes self compassion, self worth, and of course personalized coping mechanisms. While it all very professional the atmosphere is very casual, especially during breaks and snacks, its very lively in general. Groups fall on a deep side, the atmosphere is filled of understanding, no judgement, and encouragement. No one is pressured to speak at all, and how deep the conversations get depend on how much the patients are willing to dig. Overall, DMAP can be life altering, if you are willing to put in the work and accept the guidance. I will forever be thankful for this place, and highly recommend it for anyone who wants, needs, or would appreciate some help. IMPORTANT MENTIONS: In my journey I learned self worth, body neutrality, goal setting, accountability, radical acceptance, cognitive distortions, challenging thoughts, mind and body connectivity, and more 🙂 but this is to just show how much this place does, this is also all centered around my needs and what clicked and worked for me. I enjoy this place very much. All of the staff is very friendly and they cater to every patient's needs. Ms. Erika is very intelligent. The staff are very attentive and I can see a significant amount of progress I've made since I started. Would highly recommend:))
