We enrolled our 2.5 year old after a very bad experience at a previous daycare. I should’ve known from our initial meeting there may be potential problems/inconsistencies. During our meeting with the owner Sandy, I asked if it was a peanut free school and her response was yes as she was eating a trail mix with peanuts. She made an excuse for that. We continued to go through the tour and it was the first place my child felt comfortable with the teachers she would have a daily interaction with so we moved forward to enroll her. The traditional school year (Sept. - June) went well and great interaction with Ms. Jessica, Admin Director, and the classroom teachers. It wasn’t often we saw the owner on-site but the few times we did she always had a snarky comment about our child. I would pick up my child and she would be happy but crying to tell me something and the remark “why does she get like that?” Excuse me, she’s a toddler with many emotions and she was under the weather on this particular day. What school Director or owner wouldn’t understand the roller coaster of emotions of a child. My child was potty trained however did not move up to the other class yet and continued to be with the younger students and not challenged academically. As summer approached there was a continual rotation of teachers and my daughter had an incident where she fell and bumped her head and Ms. Sandra the teacher at the time neglected to inform me. My child told me about it and I immediately inquired and was told “sorry we didn’t tell you mom, she was fine and more scared than anything.” Again, excuse me, it’s being brushed off as nothing and why wasn’t I informed immediately, especially when they have devices and are able to communicate this right away. Communication started diminishing. My child started coming home unhappy and not wanting yo go back. We looked into other options and finally left to an amazing school and definitely didn’t send her when she was feeling uneasy. NEVER under estimate a child’s feelings and ALWAYS be mindful of their well being. Discovery Years is not the place for my child and her academic growth and well being.

Our 2 years old son has been attending Discovery Years for the past 6 months now and we can't be happier choosing their program.
After checking several care providers in the area, we choose Discovery Years as it stands out on many levels. Their facility is high quality, rooms are spacious, clean, plenty of large windows expose kids to natural light; inner temperature is normal, there is no crazy cold AC running all years long, which made our kid sick several times in previous daycare.
Kids spend outdoor time every day when season allows, in case of bad weather they are in an inside gym. Daily lunch catering is OK.
Live video feed allows parents to check on their kids during the day, which also allowed us to see how gentle, friendly and caring the teachers are.
Special thanks goes out to Miss Miranda, doing an absolutely outstanding job caring for our kid. She’s energetic, patient, positive no matter what and we know our kid is in the best hands.

Amazing place! Wonderful staff.
We have had so many great teachers like Ms Miranda, Ms Aura, Ms Karina, Ms Svetlana, Ms Fanta and many more. The administration is great and always open to talk. Our child has learned so much. My daughter enjoys attending school. Ms. Miranda is very knowledgeable about toddlers' development and she is very respectful of each kid’s personality and adaptation to a new environment. They keep the classroom clean!

Our twins go to Discovery Years and we couldn't be happier. The teachers are very good and the leadership team is amazing. We have toured several daycares and Discovery Years is the best by far. Highly recommend Discovery Years to all the parents looking for a good daycare.

I absolutely love DYC and the staff. They provide such a safe, educational, nurturing and active environment at every age group. My daughter started kindergarten so well prepared and it had so much to do with the structure that DYC provided. She learned to develop friendships, she bonded with all of her teachers, she looked forward to going every day. She was full of new fun information at every pick up. I would highly recommend. She is now enrolled in Discovery Camp and enjoying all of the fun activities and trips

Our son goes to Discovery Years and it was the best decision that we have made! Finding a daycare is hard enough, but to find one that is filled with positive, attentive, helpful staff and a warm, inviting, safe, nurturing, eco-friendly environment along with age appropriate enrichment and education is a parent's answered prayer. As the owner and visionary, Sandra is fully invested in this learning center, and we see her there on a regular basis. Jessica welcomes us and our baby each morning with the brightest smile, she knows every child by name, is available to answer any question, and takes the time to keep the parents informed with regular update emails, calendar invites and messages. There is a culture of kindness, communication and commitment that has been consistently evident in our interactions with everyone. The teachers go above and beyond to love on the children and you can tell that they are dedicated and passionate about what they do. We absolutely adore seeing Ms. Aura on the camera with a huge smile on her face, singing songs and reading stories with all the little ones in a circle around her on a regular basis. Ms. Kathy has a gift of patience and is extremely attentive to each of the children's needs, whether it is feeding them or helping them fall asleep or supporting them to take their first steps with such enthusiasm. The sweetest thing is watching our son practically leap into her arms at drop off. Ms. Jaimie takes the time to answer our questions, give regular updates and provide helpful suggestions and guidance any time we need, which has been very beneficial as we navigate different situations from an ear infection to various milestones. Ms. Karina has so much energy and plays with the children as a part of their little world. We are thankful to Ms. Sam, Ms. Kattie, Ms. Svetlana, Ms. Mirza, and all of the other teachers for their support; even if they are not our son's primary teachers, they have each stepped in and taken the time to care for him in various ways, which goes to show the overall team-based environment at the center. The daily app updates and pictures that the teachers send brighten our day, and on the challenging days where our baby isn't feeling well or a little more irritable than usual, they make sure to keep us informed and do their best to take care of him. We genuinely feel a sense of calm, relief and comfort when we drop off our baby, because it feels like he is being cared for by family. One of the best parts is seeing our son smile so big, adapt well and be comfortable in his class with his teachers and his friends. Thank you for everything you do, Discovery Years team. We were a little nervous about enrolling our son as he is an only child who has not spent much time with other children or away from us. Discovery Years Child Learning Center turned out to be such a smart decision. The group activities in their Adventurers program have turned our shy little boy into a true adventurer.

Picking a daycare was easier than I thought since a couple friends also came here. We received many good recommendations so it helped ease me quite a bit. Now, months later I don’t know what I would do without Discovery, they are fantastic with my kids. Lots of open communication and availability anytime you need anything.
